Japanese women's wrestler Sareee tweeted Sunday that she will wrestle her final match in Japan next week and will then move to the U.S. to begin full-time with WWE.

Her final match is set for Friday, January 22nd for SEAdLINNNG where she is one half of the Beyond the Sea Tag Team champions with Yoshiko.

After breaking into the business in the spring of 2011, the 24-year-old born Sari Fujimura signed with the company early last year and was set to do the move then, but the pandemic changed those plans. She later said WWE allowed her to continue to work in Japan until she was able to leave.

It's unknown when she will start, but it's assumed NXT and the Orlando, Florida, Performance Center will be her first stop.

After being off since late-February, Sareee has kept a regular schedule since September, working throughout Tokyo for SEAdLINNNG, World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana, Sendai Girls' Pro Wrestling, and others.

Well I mean...most of her cohorts have had pretty well success, except the way main roster handled Asuka...and even still she's seen lots of gold.

If anything you could argue that all of the Japanese women or..."joshi" as you call them...are some of the only ones who they didn't completely immediately butcher, let alone even act like they know what to do with.

one is still in developmental and the other retired partially because of constant concussions.

eitherway, believe, if you had seen what they can do in Japan, you'd know they not handled to their real potential

At least they seemingly...*tried* to push them and do big things with them like, even though they definitely messed up some things a long the way and Kairi and Asuka both became "regular main roster stars", and Io Shirai remains to be seen...and I definitely am fully aware of their starpower and potential...but unfortunately WWE simply doesn't have that kind of platform to showcase them as such...which there's no excusing from them at all.
