Impact Wrestling is holding a tournament to decide the new number one contender to Tessa Blanchard's Impact World Championship.
The tournament was announced on this week's episode of Impact. On the left side of the bracket, Rohit Raju vs. Trey Miguel and Sami Callihan vs. Michael Elgin are the first round matches. The first round matches on the right side of the bracket are Ken Shamrock vs. Rhino and Madman Fulton vs. Hernandez.
Raju vs. Miguel and Fulton vs. Hernandez will air on next Tuesday's episode of Impact.
Blanchard was supposed to defend her title against Elgin and Eddie Edwards in a triple threat match at Rebellion, but neither Blanchard nor Edwards were able to attend last month's Impact television tapings due to the coronavirus pandemic.
There was instead an angle where Elgin vowed to still be declared Impact World Champion at Rebellion night two last week. It led to Moose appearing with the old TNA World Heavyweight Championship belt, interrupting Elgin, and declaring himself TNA Champion. Moose defeated Hernandez and Elgin in a triple threat match in last week's main event.
Moose was originally announced as one of the participants for the number one contender's tournament, but he did an interview saying he was pulling himself out of it. Moose said he doesn't care about the Impact World Championship and called his TNA World Heavyweight Championship the most prestigious title in professional wrestling.
Moose will defend the TNA title against Suicide on Impact next Tuesday. In his interview this week, Moose, whose story has been that he's anti-TNA, said he deserves to be TNA Champion because of wins against former champions like Shamrock, RVD, and Rhino.

A new addition to the Knockouts division emerged on this week's episode of Impact.
Kimber Lee made her Impact debut in a segment that aired on this week's show. It set up that Lee will make her Impact in-ring debut against Jessicka Havok next Tuesday.
Havok was the guest on Madison Rayne's Locker Room Talk segment on this week's episode of Impact. Rayne asked Havok about losing to Rosemary in their Full Metal Mayhem match at Rebellion and Nevaeh appearing in the arena and watching the match. Havok said Nevaeh is an old friend, but she doesn't know why she's here.
Rayne revealed that she had a surprise for Havok and said Nevaeh wasn't Havok's only old friend in Impact. She then introduced Lee as her next guest. Lee said she might be new around here, but Havok knows exactly who she is. Lee called herself the crown jewel and said she's ready to rise to the top. Havok responded by saying she knows who Lee is, but Lee knows exactly who Havok is too.

An independent wrestling standout, Lee reported to the WWE Performance Center in January 2017 and used the name Abbey Laith in NXT prior to being released in 2018. She was one of the entrants in the inaugural Mae Young Classic.
