JOE COFFEY VIDEO PACKAGE/PROMO ON ILJA DRAGUNOV- great!

TYLER BATE vs. JOSEPH CONNERS- 7/10
Much better than I was expecting. Conners actually looked like real competition for Bate. The problem is that he NEVER gets that big win, which makes all of the time they spent building him up between losses to main eventers/guys on the rise feel like a frustrating waste.

TONI STORM VS. KAY LEE RAY VIDEO PACKAGE- awesome!

DAVE MASTIFF VS. WALTER CONTRACT SIGNING- fine
That title match is in two weeks.

JINNY PROMO- good arrogant heel stuff explaining that she has fired Jazzy Gabert for disobeying her. I could be wrong, but I think they had actually established that Jazzy Gabert was an employee of Jinny rather than an employee of NXT UK, so this actually makes sense.

NOAM DAR vs. JOSH MORRELL- 4.75/10
The match was fine for the time it got, but I’m wondering why it took Dar seven minutes to defeat a guy who is basically a jobber?

THE HUNT PROMO- more angry bearded British men yelling. These cartoon characters will wrestle the Grizzled Young Veterans next week.

JORDAN DEVLIN PROMO- He’s focused on the Cruiserweight Title at the moment, so he’ll come back to NXT UK when he’s ready.

JOE COFFEY vs. ILJA DRAGUNOV- 8/10
Coffey worked over Ilja’s knee and Ilja was his fantastic babyface self. Ilja won, and Coffey showed him respect after the match, remaining babyface.

A great episode of NXT UK, providing great wrestling and great build for future weeks.
