CANDICE LERAE vs. ALIYAH (w/Vanessa Bourne)- 3.5/10
Aliyah drags Candice down to a match was watchable but not much more.

VELVETEEN DREAM SELFIE PROMO- good
He saw Buddy Murphy in the background and they had a little thing. That’s definitely a match I want to see. And we would later learn that this match is happening next week, and with the North American Title on the line!

KUSHIDA CONTRACT SIGNING- fine for what it was.
Hunter and Regal both put him over as a big deal. KUSHIDA wore a dapper suit, said a few words in English, and signed his contract.

JAXSON RYKER (w/the Forgotten Sons) vs. DANNY BURCH (w/Oney Lorcan)- no rating, good squash
And almost more importantly, Mauro did a great job of noting that squashing a non-jobber makes Ryker look even more impressive.

POST-MATCH SEGMENT- good
Ryker tried to continue the beat-down. Lorcan ran in to make the save but the other Forgotten Sons came in and both Burch and Lorcan got beaten down.

SHAYNA BASZLER PROMO- good

COLE/GARGANO RECAP- yeah… I got bored and fast forwarded though all of this.

STREET PROFITS vs. FABIAN AICHNER & MARCEL BARTHEL- 7.5/10

A good episode of NXT, and much less boring than the usual post-TakeOver fare.

Then you missed the aftermath from Cole and Gargano...FINALLY some dissension teasing between Cole and Strong.

Finally some build or any kind of angle for them other than "heel stable 101'...

I really hope they use the fact that he lost his main title opportunity against him...also that it took him years to get it.

The real unexpected turn would be they just kick Cole out, who, with twists and turns, ends up going face instead.

Yeah. I heard about that. Cole and Roddy having dissension has burned me before by not leading anywhere (looking at you, PWG), but I've assumed Roddy's babyface turn was only a matter of time since the moment Bobby Fish came back.
