I've fallen into a recent fascination with Backyard Wrestling from the wrestling boom of the late '90s, and how big some of these things got. It's safe to say OMEGA was the biggest with the most renound alumni. If my mental math serves me, in '97 Matt and Jeff already had a relationship with WWE for a year at this point.
It's the weirdest thing, as with most of the bigger backyard feds... I'm left with this odd feeling of being impressed at the crowds they drew and how polished everything looks combined with disgust at how shoddy and unsafe it all looks...
