After returning to Raw on Monday and announcing that his leukemia is in remission, Roman Reigns is being advertised for a match at Fastlane.

The Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio is advertising Reigns & Seth Rollins vs. Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre & Bobby Lashley in a two-on-three handicap match for Fastlane. The pay-per-view is taking place at the Quicken Loans Arena on March 10.

WWE has yet to officially announce the match. It being advertised doesn't necessarily guarantee that the match will happen, or that it will happen in that two-on-three form.

Reigns also made a second appearance on this week's Raw after announcing that he's in remission. He and Rollins saved Dean Ambrose from Corbin, McIntyre, Lashley, and Elias, and Reigns hit Superman punches on Lashley and McIntyre and gave McIntyre a spear.

The segment ended with the three Shield members looking at each other, with Reigns and Rollins on the stage and Ambrose in the ring.

Reigns is scheduled to be a regular on WWE television going forward.

So Dean will make 3v3 on the night because why not? and not doing so would be stupid.

But what a useless way of using your World Championship contender the PPV before Wrestlemania in a throwaway 3v3 / 2v3 match. Pointless.

It's all pointless because Lesnar won't be there.

Maybe not, but you’ll still want to showcase Rollins as your top guy and someone who can beat anyone, so have him in a 1 v 1 tune up match.

It worked better when Heyman had other full time 'guys' besides Brock...

Yeah that could have worked. Hell, put him against anybody half decent one v one, have Seth go over and build that angle further.

Seth has to win at Wrestlemania, so make him look a million fucking dollars on the way so when he does do it people can sit there and say "that's my guy, that's a top looking Universal Champion, he beat Brock and he beat x,y,z"

Nobody cares about the guy being in a tag match that does nothing to further the angle or the match he's about to complete in. Stupid. Stupid.

I think it was real, but I also think the timing of everything was suspiciously convenient...

I just don't care enough about Roman to invest emotion into it either way. I know it's a horrible thing to say, but worry/anger/relief/excitement... only people I care about get those things, cancer or no cancer. I mean, I don't wish ol' Joe any harm or discomfort; but I didn't care when he left, I didn't care when he came back, and I wouldn't care if the whole thing was a work to get him over.

His involvement in anything makes me not care about it, worked or not, Roman or "Joe".

Yeah that's what "gets" people I think. He's now back just in time for WM season...and the most loved guy in the building.

I'm kinda in the same position. I don't wish him bad either way, but never really been a Reigns fan and certainly not at this point.

I had this thought too, and I thought I was being hyper-critical of WWE like I was when I thought they were pushing Kofi for Black History Month... Glad I'm not the only one. But I don't think I'm in that camp anymore.

That's exactly what I thought. No one comes back from a cancer diagnosis and still gets booed.

And with the laundry list of things the WWE has made into an angle, including someone's ACTUAL death... Let's say they haven't left us bereft of evidence to support the idea.

I don't think I there is anyone on a position to shine Rollins up in an effective manner. Getting the Shield reunion match in while they still can is the right call.

It's not a work. Whether or not we have seen solid evidence or not, the sheer number of people who would need to be involved in such a conspiracy would be impossible to keep quiet. If Meltzer gets a hold of the Mania plans in five seconds from Vince's most trusted people then there is no way THIS would be able to keep quiet

I know that it's not, I'm just saying... They haven't exactly given us a reason to think it isn't.

Just like they wouldn't turn Cena heel. Cena is/was the last of the big merch movers, and I think the idea was for Roman to take that spot since John's finding other stuff to do.

Not only the timing of everything, but for me it's the fact that they essentially hit the pause button once he left for treatment. There was ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to put the title back on Brock, and keep the title on Brock, unless they knew they'd be picking back up where they left off in short order. There was ZERO sense of urgency to fill that top spot this entire time... you know... as if they knew he'd be back in time for 'Mania all along... and OH WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT!

The opportunities were there in Braun, Seth, Balor, and Ambrose... and the only guy that's been protected (not even pushed) during The Big Dog's absence held or feuded over the secondary title the entire time. ALMOST as if they knew they didn't need to fill the spot...

I'm not saying the whole thing was a work, but I would not be at all surprised if this was less of a "Roman Reigns is fighting for his life against leukemia" and more of a "Hey, your levels are pretty high, you should probably get off the road for a bit so we can figure out what's going on and get them back down..."

To be fair, that can become a life threatening thing really quickly. My mom has leukemia, same as Roman, though thankfully she’s been in remission for 7 years. But her oncologist told her that for people who have it come back, the second or third time it’s harder to treat because it becomes resistant to some degree to the treatments that are used. So it’s better to get on top of them before they get over that 15% mark.

You’re not wrong that everything is suspicious, but I also want to believe that Roman as a man would put his foot down and say no if this was pitched to him as an angle. I know we don’t know a lot about them personally but from what I do now, it just doesn’t seem like something he’d be okay doing.
