Did You Know Ric Flair...

Did you know Ric Flair's moveset was heavily influenced by his plane crash?

Even though his back was fully healed, Flair was afraid to take a proper back bump. This is why to this day, he will not take a backbody drop flat on his back, be thrown off the top rope and land flat on his back, and this is also why he began to flip into the turnbuckle and over the ropes instead of just going into it back-first.

I read it in his book and heard it in an interview. He stated that there were only a few people he'd trust to drop him flat on his back.

I could defiantly tell when he sells moves in the ring, but I didn't know that his move set was influenced by the plane crash.

That bump he took at wrestlemania 22 in the MITB match must have almost killed him. He was suplexed from the top of the ladder. I think by Matt Hardy
