Then whoever thought that up is an idiot. The big celebration wasn't just because Eddie won a match. It was because Eddie won the world championship for the first time, and after overcoming substance problems. AJ is already a world champion, has been many times over, and this is a match with nothing on the line. Furthermore, in case there actually are any people out there who are strictly Raw viewers and would thus be rooting for Raw against SD, this will just make Braun less likable to them and they won't join in said big celebration.cero2k wrote: ↑Nov 12th, '18, 16:04it's not an analogy, it's a match formula. Brock destroys Styles, Strowman comes in and levels Lesnar, AJ picks the win. Everyone celebrates.Big Red Machine wrote: ↑Nov 12th, '18, 15:54I don't think the analogy holds too much water, as it's really Corbin who screwed Braun, whereas Brock was the one who screwed Goldberg in the Rumble, thus necessitating Goldberg helping Eddie to get revenge on Brock.

no one is comparing celebrations or anything. it's just a match formula which also included Lesnar, a small guy, and a large guy interfering.Big Red Machine wrote: ↑Nov 12th, '18, 16:24

Then Brock/Eddie is an odd comparison to pick, just because big vs. small with interference is such a common thing that it makes picking a specific example kind of odd.cero2k wrote: ↑Nov 12th, '18, 16:42no one is comparing celebrations or anything. it's just a match formula which also included Lesnar, a small guy, and a large guy interfering.Big Red Machine wrote: ↑Nov 12th, '18, 16:24

no one is comparing it either. How many small vs big with interference of another big person that includes Brock Lesnar AND to build such Lesnar vs that other big guy have you ever seen?Big Red Machine wrote: ↑Nov 12th, '18, 19:24

Why does Brock have to be in the example at all? It just... seems to me that if you're going pick a specific example to bring up to explain a situation that is so commonplace that it shouldn't need an illustrative example, then you are inherently making a comparison between the scenario you intend to have happen and the specific example you picked.cero2k wrote: ↑Nov 12th, '18, 22:47no one is comparing it either. Re: Mike Johnson Explains Braun Strowman's Position
dude, you're just doing circles around this for no reason. there is no comparison, there is nothing other than a match plan that Brock once did with Eddie that now he can redo with Styles in order to give the win to Styles and set up a match with Strowman. Just forget i brought it up.Big Red Machine wrote: ↑Nov 12th, '18, 23:16

Weeeeiiirrrd!
When they come, they'll come at what you love.
Re: Mike Johnson Explains Braun Strowman's Position
Styles/Lesnar will probably go later on, if not last. Strowman will have already left the arena by that point in the card anyway...
