Charlotte to undergo surgery, still set for WWE European tour

Charlotte Flair will undergo surgery, though not in the near future.
A report from PWInsider this afternoon said that Flair will undergo surgery to fix a ruptured implant. She is still scheduled for the European tour that kicks off shortly and will not go for the surgery until sometime after the tour. The ACE Comic Con convention announced today on Twitter that Flair would be missing a meet and greet at the event on June 22 due to surgery, though that was taken down shortly thereafter. She will be replaced by Carmella.
In recent weeks, Charlotte has been embroiled in a feud involving Carmella, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay. After the latter two had attacked her in their debut, Carmella cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase and pinned her to win the title. She then defeated her in a rematch at Backlash this past Sunday. Charlotte will be in the women’s Money in the Bank match as she defeated Royce on SmackDown to earn a spot in the match, which will take place on June 17.
It isn’t known when the implant rupture took place.

This seems like a great time to suggest one of my favorite guilty pleasure angles in wrestling history: in the early 2000s in OVW they did an angle where one of perennial babyface Jillian Hall's implants ruptured and "leaked into her brain", causing her to to become a crazy heel.

What's ridiculous is how Charlotte is the most overdone and overpushed act in the entire women's division lol.

I'm just absolutely tired of her being in the forefront of everything.

Dude... I've been saying this for years. No one should be calling anyone "genetically superior," but there are doubly unfortunate implications to telling everyone that the blonde-haired, blue-eyed white person is genetically superior.

That's why Ric Flair isn't invited to Carmella's celebration.

As a blonde haired blue eyed gentleman, I too would shy away from such a nickname. Whilst in context you can understand it, any first time watcher of WWE hearing that nickname may think other things.

I mean... even in context, it's kind of stupid. Yeah, she's Ric Flair's daughter, but it's not like her mother was some top-name wrestler, too. This isn't one of Kensuke Sasaki and Akira Hokuto's kids. It's the daughter of Ric Flair and some random lady Ric happened to be married to at the time. I thought the "queen" gimmick was much better, as it sounds equally arrogant, hits the same note of hereditary prowess, and "Bow to the Queen" is MUCH better name for that move than "Natural Selection" (plus Charlotte, NC is "The Queen City") and it manages to avoid all unfortunate implications.

Can't argue with any of that logic!
Besides, if Ric Flair's genetics were that great, David Flair would have been a much bigger deal.

since we're still talking about her...
From F4WOnline
CHARLOTTE TO UNDERGO DENTAL WORK AFTER LOSING TEETH DURING MATCH
Ashley Fliehr (Charlotte Flair) is flying back home from the European tour after getting her teeth knocked out in a match on her first night on tour on Thursday in Oberhausen, Germany.
She was in a SmackDown Women's Championship match with Carmella when the accident happened. She continued the match as it was laid out, with Charlotte winning by disqualification and Carmella retaining the title. Charlotte interacted with fans after the match and said that she couldn't take a picture due to losing teeth.
She will be getting dental work done back home and is expected to return to the tour sometime after the weekend.
She had been working with a ruptured implant as well, but that isn't scheduled to be taken care of until after the European tour. On SmackDown this Tuesday, Charlotte was confirmed for next month's women's Money in the Bank ladder match as she defeated Peyton Royce in a qualifier.

Someone needs to teach this woman the business. That's the exact opposite of what you're supposed to do!

"Genetically superior." I'm pretty sure she knows better than you.

For all their shtick about the women’s revolution, they may still have conditions to adhere to when appearing in fan photos or media.

She probably just personally didn't want to be photographed that way lol.
