The end of football season provided a bigger than expected bounce-back for Raw on Monday night as the show was up 17 percent from the January 8th episode, with 3.22 million viewers.

The prior week's show went against the Georgia vs. Alabama College Football title game.

In particular, the audience over the age of 50 was huge for the first hour on Monday night, before going into a big decline.

Raw was third for the night on cable, trailing an NBA game and Hannity.

The flip side is the audience tuning in to the first hour didn't stay, as the first to third hour drop of 21.2 percent is gigantic, although the third hour was still ahead of what the show has been doing against football.

In the demos, the drop in 18-49 women from the first to third hour was 26 percent, while with men the drop was seven percent. With teenage boys the drop was 19 percent, which is shocking because that's the audience that traditionally stays or even grows in the third hour. With WWE's prime audience group, over 50, the drop was 21 percent.

The three hours were:

8 p.m. 3.57 million viewers
9 p.m. 3.36 million viewers
10 p.m. 2.81 million viewers
