Which is why I called them "FanDUMB." Emphasis upon the "dumb" part.

They whined when everyone aside from Ki, Joe, Dragon, Cide, and Nigel won the belt. Some of them are whining, but others are happy. You will never please every smark, and indy wrestling, unfortunately, is full of smarks (not smart fans; "smarks." There is a huge difference). Many ROH fans can be so obnoxiously smarkish, and yet not realize how much they are really marks. When Aries was doing BS to avoid title shots and cheating to win matches, they were all complaining "THIS IS BS! ROH needs to stop having Aries do this crap. We want real title defenses with no cheating!" GOOD! THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO WANT!!! But you are supposed to be booing THE HEEL WHO IS DOING THE THINGS THAT MAKE YOU ANGRY, NOT THE COMPANY!

I did NOT see this coming! Eddie rocks ass! He's been gaining more and more momentum and props the longer he's been in ROH. He's been nothing but excellent; good for him.

The best part is: NO ONE expected this at all! It's more surprising than when Lynn won the title.

As far as the fans go; I can see why they are a bit disappointed that Davey didn't win the belt first, but it doesn't mean he won't get it. ROH has done this several times (ppl expect Punk to beat Joe for the belt; they expected Dragon to beat Aries; expected Nigel to beat Aries; expected Black to beat Lynn) and it's always worked out. Who gets it first doesn't matter; congrats to Eddie!

BTW: I hope we are getting heel Briscoes, though I don't know how I feel about babyface ANX. ROH knows how to make it work though.

This year is gonna be VERY interesting!

I know. It makes it so damn exciting! And I was in the building when Aries won the belt from Lynn. I was SO sure that Tyler would win the belt that night, but I was even more confident that this would be semi-random throwaway defense or something. Congrats, Eddie!

This should be REALLY good when he defends against Christopher Daniels, the TV champion, at Honor Takes Center Stage.
