That's why WCW ultimately got bought out, because Time Warner didn't like wrestling (for all the crap WCW pulled in its last year, who can blame them?). As long as Spike TV likes TNA Wrestling, they will continue to pour money into it. As for filling the Impact Zone, between moronic plants and clueless tourists, they will always have a full house.

And I think once the ratings start to sink, Spike will realize that TNA isn't worth their time. Spike doesn't know the difference between a good wrestling show and a shitty one, all they know is they're "a channel for men" and men like wrestling. Spike will only drop them if their ratings go down.

Brutus The Barber Beefcake will become the new TNA television champion. Hogan will take the title off Sting because he's still bitter that Sting stole his 90's spotlight, and put it on a returning Macho Man. We will then see Dixie Carter vignettes about how she's had training as a rigorous wrestler, and she will become the new Knockouts champion. Yep; as STUPID as iMPACT! has gotten, they fit in PERFECTLY with SPIKE's programming. I mean, they've got some good shows on there, but a lot of them are good in the sense that they're stupid (i.e. 1000 Ways to Die, Blue Mountain State, etc)

I want TNA to make a comeback & actually compete with WWE, but sadly... I'll be suprised if TNA is still around this summer... and that is sad to the actual WRESTLING TALENT that is in that organization... they'll have to choose ROH (who will let you wrestle but does not have a major TV outlet) or WWE (who is on everywhere but will not let you actually wrestle)...

There's also Japan, Mexico, Canada, Europe, and a good number of other American Indy's to choose from, too. But TNA isn't going anywhere anytime soon, bro. They are terrible right now, but we're really the only one's who notice. TNA has hooked enough casual fans to stay afloat for a good while longer....

It's not the causal fans. Casual fans generally don't pay for PPVs. The thing that will keep them afloat is Panda.

The support of the casual fans is what will keep Panda funding TNA. Casual fans don't buy ppv's, but they will pick up some merchandise while they're at Universal Studios. Casual fans will still watch iMPACT! and keep the ratings where they are, thus satisfying the network. And, some ppl actually LIKE TNA the way it is bc it's so different from the wrestling everyone is familiar with (by everyone, I mean the mainstream. People really were not watching WCW when it was as ridiculous as TNA is right now. Plus, the American public nowadays is as ridiculous as TNA. iMPACT! is awful, but awful in the same ways that Jersey Shore is.)

Oh, for sure. But, having names from TNA join a smaller org will only build those orgs up, just like TNA and ROH featured a lot of former WCW and ECW guys in their infancy....

Despite the fact that on their last PPV, the world title defense was including entrances about 8 minutes long, TNA isnt going down anytime soon. There are A LOT of factors that would need to happen for them to go down. Their ratings would need to consistently drop below 1.00 for a WHILE. Majority of the matches on their PPVs would need to be bad. I honestly dont know their PPV buys but they probably arent very good either. They always manage to fill up the Impact Zone BUT the crowd doesnt seem into the show AND are likely people from around the park. Spike TV wont cancel TNA because they think TNA fits in with their usual programming which they do so i highly doubt they'd drop TNA from Spike TV.

As for TNA's survival, I had predicted back in November that TNA would either be off TV at New Year's 2011, or in September of 2011, when the new TV "season" begins. My first deadline has passed. I hadn't watched impact! since November but I caught about half an hour of this past impact!, and it seemed even worse. If TNA impact! is not replaced on Spike TV come September, I will be incredibly suprised.
