- DIY vs. SAnitY ended in a no contest

DIY got a big pop and there were plenty of chants for them. Eric Young was very vocal and got some decent responses as well. The match was ruled a no contest after the ref put up the "injury X" after about five minutes. Trainers came out to check on Tommaso Ciampa's leg.

Eddie Edwards wrestled a Ladder War with a broken arm, Ciampa should be ok for Takeover

That was pre-corporate ROH. This is WWE. Also, I think we can all agree that Tommaso Ciampa is not even close to being at Eddie Edwards' level.

UPDATE: http://www.f4wonline.com/wwe-news/tomma ... now-235871

The condition of Tommaso Ciampa is up in the air, but all things considered, the news was positive as X-rays showed he didn't suffer a broken ankle last night.

During the match in Highland Heights, Kentucky, with Ciampa & Johnny Gargano vs. Alexander Wolfe & Eric Young, Ciampa suffered what appeared to be a left ankle injury about four minutes into the match.

Paul Levesque, on this morning's WWE conference call, said that Ciampa suffered a sprained ankle and was feeling a lot better today.

He said that as of this moment, the plans for tomorrow night's Ciampa & Gargano vs. Authors of Pain ladder match in Chicago for the NXT tag team titles are still on. But he said that it's up to the medical side if they will clear him tomorrow.

Levesque said that right now they don't have a specific backup plan in place. He noted that both Gargano & Ciampa worked a lot around the Chicago area so the match was a big deal to them and he'd hate for them to miss the opportunity.

Bryan Alvarez said someone told him that this is actually a work to set up a story for the title match.

I've been hearing rumors of a DIY break up, maybe it's that

But if that was the case you'd think it would be Gargano who is "injured" and Ciampa that turns heel, blaming the loss on him. We know Gargano can be an effective heel, but I wouldn't turn him on a guy who is much bigger than him for something like this, especially when things have all been set up for it to be Ciampa that turns. A "Psycho Killer" isn't supposed to be a babyface.
