My guess as well. What a waste of time, money, and attention.cero2k wrote:why they thought that a new title was necessary beats me, i'm guessing woman's

Remember last year when they legit had a bunch of natural trios with the Bullet Club, KRD, House of Truth, The Kingdom, Decade, that would have been an awesome tournament.
now, all the teams are makeshift, the only legit trio is the BC.
New Japan's little brother or not, just miss when the booking was competent.cero2k wrote:i miss when ROH wasn't NJPW's little brother
Speculation is that they are in here to job to Addiction/Kamaitachi in the first round. It's a fine way to both get CMLL involved and.. well.. they're more bodies, and this tournament does need bodies.cero2k wrote:CMLL has announced their team, and it's....
Ultimo Guerrero, Okumura, and Hechicero,
talk about lackluster. Okumura needs to retire
i get that, but at the same time, you should bring guys that will make you wishing they come back, bring some young guys that will fly like crazy, they don't have to be big namesBig Red Machine wrote:Speculation is that they are in here to job to Addiction/Kamaitachi in the first round. They're already bringing in Dragon Lee for the PPV, and I'm sure we'll see Volador Jr. at some point, and probably Caristico, too.cero2k wrote:i get that, but at the same time, you should bring guys that will make you wishing they come back, bring some young guys that will fly like crazy, they don't have to be big namesBig Red Machine wrote:Speculation is that they are in here to job to Addiction/Kamaitachi in the first round. there you go, bring a team of Dragon Lee, Caristico, and Stuka and have Stuka take the pin. It's like when they brought the Dragon Gate ones, they didn't bring old timers that could barely hangBig Red Machine wrote: They're already bringing in Dragon Lee for the PPV, and I'm sure we'll see Volador Jr. at some point, and probably Caristico, too.
Because Guerero is something of a name, Lee is almost certainly going to lose his first match anyway so he's not the best choice, Caristico doesn't like losing and is probably more expensive than this spot warrants, and Stuka Jr. was unimpressive in his first appearance. They brought in some guys who will do their thing competently and lose. It's not a PPV spot or anything so I'm not worried about it.cero2k wrote:there you go, bring a team of Dragon Lee, Caristico, and Stuka and have Stuka take the pin. The worldwide partnership between CMLL, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and Ring of Honor takes center stage in the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship Tournament! The tournament to crown the first champions kicks off LIVE on Pay-Per-View on Friday, September 30 at All Star Extravaganza. Five teams have already been announced, with rising stars and legends stepping forward to stake their claim as the very first to hold the championships!
The sixth team to enter looks to add to their championship collection by entering the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship tournament!
Bullet Club is as revered as they are feared worldwide. With a reach spanning across organizations and defying traditional boundaries, Bullet Club, led by ROH World Champion Adam Cole, has dictated if not controlled the direction of Ring of Honor since hijacking the Global Wars Pay-Per-View.
ROH Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness has conceded that he has not stopped or suspended Bullet Club because the group makes ROH too much money and attracts too many fans. The rebellious group finds itself adorned in gold: Cole holds the ROH World Championship and the Young Bucks are the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Champions with an opportunity to win the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships. Now, with Kenny Omega, Guerrillas of Destiny, Hangman Page, and Takahashi having competed in ROH rings in 2016, Bullet Club has their sights set on one more championship.
But which Bullet Club will fans see in the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship Tournament? Because of their influence, popularity, and unpredictability, McGuinness has allowed Bullet Club to sign a blank contract, allowing them to enter the tournament without needing to identify which three Bullet Club members will compete!
The trio possibilities are endless and intriguing. A team of Guerrillas of Destiny and Takahashi would pack an international power and immediately be among the favorites. Would the World Champion insert himself in the tournament to add to his collection, potentially teaming with Page and Omega?
And it is no secret that Omega and the Young Bucks have made six-man challenges that have pushed the boundaries of professional wrestling as we know it - the trio that has bonded like brothers in Japan finds themselves among the elite trios of the sport and would instantly be the favorites to walk away with the gold. Or will we see a Bullet Club member not yet seen in ROH?
Stay tuned to ROHWrestling.com for the latest on the ROH World Six Man Tag Team Championship tournament trios and matches
Bullet Club have dominated the professional wrestling world and have opportunity to assess the landscape and choose their trio after brackets are announce.
Who will represent Bullet Club? Keep it locked here to find out!
The tournament kicks off LIVE on Pay-Per-View on Friday Septemer 30, 2016 at All-Star Extravaganza VIII with the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions the Briscoes and Toru Yano teaming up to face ACH, Lio Rush, and Jay White!
Limited tickets remain but if you’re not in the Boston area, you can see the Best Wrestling on the Planet LIVE on ROHWrestling.com, the FiteTV app, the Playstation Network, and all major providers!
