The question then becomes: who replaces her? It's SummerSlam, so it makes perfect sense for it to be a big name, but who is a big enough name to matter (and get a good reaction in NYC)? Beth Phoenix? It can't be Bayley again, can it?

I don't like Eva so I'm not upset by this.

Could be someone who is returning but not quite a babyface lik Beth would be. Maybe McCool? Kaitlyn? I can't see them throwing Maryse in the ring unless it is leading directly to her or Miz feuding with someone.

I don't like it for her. I think if it was someone else who was legitimately attractive and elegant, it would be fine. Like if Maryse didn't have Miz, it might work for her. But to me, Eva just seems like a teenager who recently grew boobs and is trying to be sexy but just seems awkward. She's not elegant or attractive, she's clumsy.

All my own opinion of course.
