Though the newly revamped SmackDown Live may still only be two hours long, it will be receiving an extra hour of analysis on WWE Network.

WWE announced on Tuesday that WWE Talking Smack, a weekly SmackDown wrap-up show featuring analysis and interviews will be debuting on WWE Network tonight. That is in addition to the half hour pre-show that already airs on WWE Network before both Raw and SmackDown.

Talking Smack will air immediately following SmackDown at 10 p.m. EST.

The decision to utilize another brand split was made largely to increase the profile and importance of SmackDown amidst worse than anticipated ratings on Thursday nights, and the post-show is another addition in an attempt to add original content to the Network, while making SmackDown feel like an important event.

No further announcements have been made about the content of the show, but it is likely to feature panel discussions using WWE's usual cast of characters.

SmackDown will air its second episode of the post-draft era tonight and our coverage begins at 8 p.m. EST

GREAT name, but I can't see anyone giving enough of a crap to watch it on even a semi-regular basis.

this ended up being a lot better than i expected.

here's a segment of it with Dragon kinda shooting on Cena, and seriously, Rene is just a good person for this type of show

Renee is a great interviewer. I'm just saying I can't see anyone sitting down to watch this every single week. I think people will do what they always do with these things, which is cherry-pick snippets based on what they hear is good.

likely, if i had the network i wouldn't mind putting it up while i start doing other stuff, just to have something to listen

Does not compute. Just having the whole archives available to me on a whim is well worth the $9.99.

i used to think that, but then i spent months not using it other than NXT which i can find for free anyway. I rather use that money for f4online or the highspots network
