For 9/24 we're getting Lethal vs. Cabana in a Ringmaster's Challenge. I like the gimmick but I just wish they would actually come up with a storyline that warrants one rather than just booking one for the f*ck of it.
And doing so would have been so easy, too. All you have to do is give Cabana a submission victory over Lethal so that they are now 1-1-1, with one guy having a submission victory and the other guy having a pinfall, to set up for a match that is first fall pins, second all submissions, and third fall ironman. This is what frustrates me about the current booking of ROH. They just do sh*t for the sake of doing it instead of building up to it in a way that makes it mean something.

Which is silly when you think about it. I think the champ does a better service to the company by having long undercard match with a guy like White or Kamaitachi or Rush or Dijak and winning clean than he does in a pointless tag match at the top of the card.
