well Matt is still a business man at the end, he knows the name sells, Jeff IS still Matt's Obsolete Mule eitherwayBig Red Machine wrote:I'm calling bullsh*t on that poster. The whole point of this is that Matt doesn't want Jeff to be a Hardy, so why is he letting Jeff be billed as "Jeff Hardy."
The whole point of the angle was that Matt thought Jeff running around being Jeff was damaging to the reputation and drawing power of the Hardy brand.cero2k wrote:well Matt is still a business man at the end, he knows the name sells, Jeff IS still Matt's Obsolete Mule eitherwayBig Red Machine wrote:I'm calling bullsh*t on that poster. yeah, but now Matt controls the name, he can allow Jeff to use it for tag matches because The Hardy Boyz sell, Jeff couldn't do a singles matchBig Red Machine wrote:The whole point of the angle was that Matt thought Jeff running around being Jeff was damaging to the reputation and drawing power of the Hardy brand.cero2k wrote: well Matt is still a business man at the end, he knows the name sells, Jeff IS still Matt's Obsolete Mule eitherway
You're getting the idea backwards. The idea is that the other things Jeff does (use drugs, engage in reckless behavior, make bad music and weird paintings) damage the Hardy brand. Therefore, Jeff being a Hardy is bad.cero2k wrote:yeah, but now Matt controls the name, he can allow Jeff to use it for tag matches because The Hardy Boyz sell, Jeff couldn't do a singles matchBig Red Machine wrote:The whole point of the angle was that Matt thought Jeff running around being Jeff was damaging to the reputation and drawing power of the Hardy brand.cero2k wrote: well Matt is still a business man at the end, he knows the name sells, Jeff IS still Matt's Obsolete Mule eitherway
