Roddy vs. Sami is the only match that interests me at all.

Sabre/Elgin and Andrews/Scurll should be great too. Hero/Matanza should be interesting

I really don't get what everyone sees in Mandrews.

It's not 1998 anymore. Those are a dime a dozen. Everyone flies nowadays (and- especially on the indies- they have since 2000), and there comes a point where the number of extra spins you can do ceases to be impressive.

yeah, i'm not saying he's the best in the world, but he puts on good matches. Ospreay vs Mandrews was one of the best matches on the last BOLA. It's not a must see match, but I'm sure it will be good. Plus he has a skateboard

I'm sure that skateboard will be useful with the absolutely zero room he'll have to use it in. I just finished watching Cole vs. Bailey from Lemmy. Fans should not b bunched up that close to the ring. It's really just not safe.

it's what makes it different from every other promotion in the world and wrestlers know that well enough to plan their matches without falling on top of them

Different does not automatically equal good. Personally, I find it takes me out of the match when the wrestlers have to wait for all of the fans to stand up, pick up their seats and move before they can continue with their match.

Personally that is what makes it great and feel more real, the atmosphere feels stronger, it feels like less of a show to an audience and more of this fight is happening and we're all in it

To me it makes it feel the opposite. "We" are not "all" supposed to be "in it." If this was a real sporting event, there would be a partition between the spectators and the action for the sake of the safety of the spectators (LU gets a pass on this because they are a kayfabe unregulated underground fight club). PWG feels like a bunch of people crowded into a gym to watch some backyarders dicking around.

you know, to a certain point, PWG is the closest to a real life unregulated underground fight club, it's a place that not everyone knows about and now every gets in, it's the same people over and over again. PWG as we have constantly debated before, it's not like every other promotion. it's like going to cockfights or something, there are no storylines, but we go there to see our 'champions' fight, we know the cocks fighting, we recognize them and cheer on them.

Except that PWG is missing that fight club atmosphere. It's the hipster promotion where the lucky few go to have fun watching the wrestling show and chanting their wacky PWG chants.
LU is a human cockfight. ROH and New Japan and the Gabe promotions Rev Pro and AAW are UFC (WWE is Bellator- a totally wacky version of UFC that subsists off of starpower, and TNA is Rizin- but really, really desperate and willing to do anything to get attention LOL). PWG is... Hoodslam, with maybe a bit of JCW thrown in whenever they actually try to do storylines.

why are we assuming that fight clubs have to be all gritty and stuff, why can't we have a nice looking fight club?

Because that's the image most people have in their heads when you say "underground fight club." PWG NEVER feels like two people trying to kill each other (at least since the last Steen vs. Generico match). No one associates an underground fight club with comedy spots.

Underground fight clubs are not guys trying to kill each other, it's just fighting. PWG is a friendly fight club, that's why it's unique

A "friendly fight club" is unique... but not in a good way. When was the last time you saw a fight promoted based on how friendly the two wrestlers are (and that is assuming PWG does any real "promoting" of the matches, which they don't. They just announce a card and maybe one or two of the matches have been built up on prior shows).
