For example, I am currently in the mood to watch an English-language show with a big arena feel (so let's say that limits us to WWE, WCW, and TNA) that is generally fun to watch the whole way through (so let's eliminate any TNA from after about August 2008). anyone have any suggestions?

from the top of my head I was recently watching the 2004 Rumble and that show is amazing.

Not for everyone, but I LOVE going back to watch the old Star Wars shows WCCW put on in Texas Stadium. I forget ottomh which one it was, but the one with Fritz Von Erich's retirement match would be the one to recommend.
