For the first time as an active fan, I will not be watching Wrestemania this year.

Let's see what's desecrating WM 27:

Miz vs. Cena
-Two average workers that I couldn't give a damn about. Internet Flame Target vs. Internet Flame Target

Edge vs. Alberto Del Rio
-Possibly the best thing that they may have going for them, but do you REALLY think that Edge is going to drop the title? Honestly?

Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs. Undertaker
-Two guys ripped to shreds by mounting injuries in a match with relatively no build. This might surpass expectations, but only because expectations are so low.

Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole with Steve Austin as referee
-This is going to be Lawler curb stomping Cole like a cigarette butt, maybe capped off with a piledriver and later a stunner. This does not deserve its own match anywhere. This will be another Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon.

CM Punk vs. Randy Orton
-This has the potential to be a good match, but it will be ruined by Orton no-selling everything and Orton will win because you're NEVER allowed to get heat on Orton.

John Morrison, Kelly Kelly and Trish Stratus vs. Dolph Ziggler, Layla and Michelle
-Am I reading this right? Are you sure that this is a g*d damned Wrestlemania match and not some throw-away, five minute "bathroom break" match on Raw?

Wade Barrett, Ezekiel Jackson, Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel vs. Big Show, Kane, Kofi Kingston and Christian
-See above.

Cody Rhodes vs. Rey Mysterio
-This may be half-way watchable, so why is there no build?

Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus
-One, this is a drastic step backward for a king of the ring winner. Two, the "WWE creative writers" (there's an oxymoron if I ever heard one) STILL don't understand that your stupid "king" gimmick KILL CAREERS!

This could very easily be worse than WM 9, and probably will be. To WWE, on behalf of all the fans who are about to have 3 hours of their life wasted: Bite the big one!

You make some valid points and some very good ones (especially about Dragon vs. Sheamus. The KOTR winner used to get a WORLD TITLE SHOT! Why is Sheamus going after a midcard title?)

I will disagree with you about two things, though:
1. Cena vs. Miz- We clearly have very different opinions about Cena, and I will chalk this one up to that. Like Cena vs. Batista from last year, I think this match will surprise people with how good it is.

2. Triple H vs. Taker: This is Taker vs. Triple H. Hunter isn't injured (he was supposed to come back months ago, but kept pushing it off). And when has Taker failed to deliver at Mania when he has had a competent opponent?

As for Edge vs. Del Rio- Yes. I DO honestly think that Del Rio will win.

Plus...there has been build on the Cody/Rey stuff.

Miz/Cena can be good, i dont expect great things but i expect more than 5 minutes.

Punk/Orton can be a great match if they treat Orton not like he's usually treated.

Rhodes/Mysterio could be a mid card show stealer. Both are decent athletes and yes there is a build to it.

Del Rio/Edge will be good and as BRM said, Del Rio will win the title.
