WWE officially announced that former WCW World champion Sting is the first member of the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame.
"We are truly honored to have Sting take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame," Paul "Triple H" Levesque told the WWE website. "His contributions to our industry are unprecedented, and we look forward to celebrating his incredible career with fans all over the world."

The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will go on sale this weekend and will take place 4/2 in Dallas, Texas.

Am I the only one who used to like this a lot better when they kept it a big secret until they showed the video on Raw?

yeap, this one i think got leaked earlier today, so i'm guessing it's them not wanting to be the ones revealing the news

Except that the last few years they've all been "ESPN reports" or "TMZ reports" or whoever else doing it, so I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case as well.
