BRM Reviews the 1/10/2016 ROH (not good... but eventful)

ROPPONGI VICE vs. ALL-NIGHT EXPRESS- 5.75/10
Both Kenny King and the crowd seem to be making a concerted effort to turn ANX heel. I'm not sure if this finish was intended to do that or not, but it certainly didn't make them look good, IMO.
KINGDOM SEGMENT-
Taven is on a crutch. Cole's arm is taped up. Not sure if this is just kayfabe or not, but if it is, major props to him for it. It's nice to see submissions actually affect people later on.
Cole points out that he won at Final Battle but Taven and Bennett lost. Before anyone could really react to this, reDRagon came out and while security stopped Kyle from attacking, Fish cut a great promo and Nigel signed Kingdom vs. reDRagon for next week and it was all good...
And then, for almost no reason, the Young Bucks came out and send some stuff and asked Nigel to put them in the match, so Nigel not only changed the previously-logical tag match into a random three-way, but he also randomly made it a Street Fight because... um...
WAR MACHINE vs. THE HOUSE OF TRUTH (Donovan Dijak & Joey Diesel Daddiego) (w/Truth Martini)- 3/10
The story of this match is that Daddiego was terrible and ineffective so Dijak tried to do the work himself and wound up losing. They also did a spot where Truth tried to give him the Book of Truth, but Dijak kicked it away because he didn't want the referee to see it. Dijak wound up eating the pin.
POST-MATCH SEGMENT- Truth says that Dijak is the weak link in the House of Truth. He is angry because Dijak lost again. He says that "when you lose, I lose" and thus he is angry... so why hasn't he gotten angry before whenever Daddiego has lost? Truth said that Dijak didn't do something he was supposed to do at Final Battle which was a metaphorical slap in the face to Truth, so Truth sallped Dijak in the face. Dijak put his hands on Truth but Daddiego made the save, but then Dijak made a comeback and hit Daddiego with Feast Your Eyes (which is a name that has to go) and Truth ran away and said Dijak was no longer part of the House of Truth. Maybe Diajk will actually get a push now.
reDRagon promo- bad. Too goofy.
FOUR CORNER SURVIVAL MATCH: Matt Sydal vs. Jay Briscoe vs. Dalton Castle (w/the Boys) vs. Moose (w/Stokely Hathaway)- 6/10
This particular Four Corner Survival match will be contested under Lucha tag rules. No reason was given for this match is but others are not. The match only went ten minutes, which was very disappointing. There was no explanation for why the Boys were allowed to be back with Dalton. I popped huge for the spot where Stokely stole fans from the Boys in order to fan Moose. Nigel said that whoever wins this match will he high on hte list for an ROH World TItle shot, which seems silly when you consider that the winner of this match has not been granted a title shot at any of the upcoming shows, and based on the spoilers, won't be getting one at the PPV, either.
Not a good show from ROH. Very far below the standard they have set over the past eighteen months.
STUPID ANNOUNCER QUOTES:
1. Nigel says that ANX are "very close to the top of the list" to challenging War Machine for the tag titles.
Didn't they just win a #1 contednership match? Shouldn't that mean that they are already at the top of the list?
