It’s no secret that WWE NXT Champion Finn Balor and NXT Women’s Champion Bayley often mention in media interviews how they’re happy staying in NXT. Apparently this has been a major discussion point within NXT.

There’s a concern among some that the more NXT tours in 2016, Balor will be breaking down his body carrying the NXT main events before he gets to the real money and the main roster. Balor is 34 now and with the years he worked in Japan, the concern comes from NXT relying so much on Balor to have great matches as the main attraction of the brand.

Regarding Bayley, there’s been some discussion over whether she will be the biggest female star in WWE history or if she will fail on the main roster. According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the feeling in WWE is that there’s no in between for Bayley. Some people see Bayley as a female John Cena, with the idea that she could do charity work and bring in younger female fans.

The biggest possible star in history might could use a last name. Maybe...

I don't think it's fair for them to hold either Balor or Bayley back because of those concerns. You have to take a risk for anything worthwhile, and both of them have the potential to be massive stars on the main roster. With Bayley and Charlotte and Sasha on the main roster, there's the potential for those NXT quality matches that could change the way people see the Divas Division and make them into credible athletes, not sex symbols trying to be athletes. And Balor I think could make management remember that you don't need to be a massive dude to be a good wrestler and popular with the fans, which I think they've forgotten in recent years.

Just give them a shot, if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. Better than being a bunch of babies about it.

With Balor, I agree with you.
With Bayley- they already have the talent for awesome women's matches on the main roster. They have Sasha, Charlotte, Becky, Paige, and Nattie, and both Bellas (especially Nikki) have proven and that they can rise to the occasion when given the chance, and Brie and Naomi can certainly be carried.
In NXT, they have... Bayley and Emma. Asuka can have great matches, but I think she is more of an Andre the Giant special attraction type of character and she shouldn't ever hold the title. For the time being, Bayley need to stay down in NXT so that she can have good matches with the Dana Brookes and Alexa Blisses and Nia Jaxes of the world so that they can get experience working in heated main events with main event time.

Oh I agree with you, what I mean is that they shouldn't hold her back because they're worried she'll fail. Give her the chance, if she fails, she fails. Don't spoil the potential because you're afraid.

I just think Bayley has something special because she's popular with kids and isn't a sex symbol really in any way (that I know of), which makes her unique among Divas.

Bayley's that little mamita man.

Cero can translate.
