– Hulk Hogan’s recent one-man show in Sheffield, England drew 1,008 fans in a 1,748 seat venue for a reported $131,887.

– The Wrestling Observer Newsletter confirms rumors of WWE interest in ROH World Champion Jay Lethal, who will see his Ring of Honor contract come up soon.

– The Lucha Underground promotion is replacing former WWE Women’s Champion Melina with women’s wrestler Taya Valkyrie. Melina was said to be “extremely difficult” to deal with, according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Well, we know Melina is a bitch, we've heard about it time and time again here about how she's gotten under people's skin and rubbed them wrong. I don't see how this is news to anyone.

Former WWE Diva Melina Perez‘s recent split with Lucha Underground was NOT due to an attitude issue … Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned she only signed up for a one-time appearance.


Lucha Underground sources tell us producers attempted to lock Melina down to a long term deal before Ultima Lucha last season, but she would only sign on for the finale.

Both parties agreed to leave the door open for S2 … but once storylines were in place, producers had decided to go in a different direction than they had initially planned with Johnny Mundo.

We’re told producers attempted to involve Melina, but the two sides couldn’t come to an agreement. Our sources say reports claiming she was “replaced” by Taya Valkyrie for being difficult to work with, however, are just not true — despite her reputation leading people to believe otherwise.

Melina refuted the same reports on Twitter last night, claiming producers said they didn’t want to pair her with Johnny Mundo — aka John Morrison — because it was already done in WWE.

According to our sources, she’s telling the truth.

If they didn't want her paired with JoMo because WWE already did it, then why did they put them together in the first place?

But they had plans for what they would do if there was one (hence the stuff at the end), so that doesn't answer it.

BRM you're totally right. I'm reminded of something I'd read on here a long time ago about her deliberately instructing John to be cold and distant to Trish when they were working together because she was upset and jealous that he was spending time with her. And something about getting kicked out of a club because she made him jump in a pool that was closed. I'm sure there are a bunch of stories like this about her. With someone like her, there's bound to be.
