Solomon Crowe Departs from WWE

WWE NXT star Solomon Crowe, aka Sami Callihan prior to signing a WWE developmental deal in 2013, has left WWE, PWInsider.com has confirmed. The story making the rounds is that Crowe requested and received his WWE release yesterday. We don't know more than that at this time.
All material related to him has already been pulled from the WWE website.
Crowe, 28, had built a nice following for himself with his work in EVOLVE, CZW, Dragon Gate USA and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, among other independent promotions before signing with WWE. If he's returning to the indy scene, he'll have an easy job getting regular bookings.
