Keri DeMott, Bill DeMott's Daughter killed in car crash

Keri DeMott, 20, was killed Oct. 10 in a car crash near Brevard County, Fl, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

Around 12:30 a.m., a vehicle going westbound crossed into the northbound lanes, hitting the victim’s vehicle head-on. The victim suffered fatal injuries, while the other driver sustained critical injuries. At the time of the report, it was unknown if the other driver was under the influence of alcohol.

DeMott, according to her Facebook page, was a student at UNF until she transferred to the University of Central Florida in 2014. She was a member of Delta Gamma sorority during her attendance at UNF. The sorority’s president, Kelsey Duerr, confirmed she is an alumna member.

The crash remains under investigation and the charges are pending.
