New Japan Pro Wrestling announced today that their 10/12 "King of Pro Wrestling" event will feature English commentary live for the first time in the history of NJPW's streaming website service, New Japan World.

Mauro Ranallo, the voice of NJPW World Pro Wrestling when it airs older material on AXS TV, noted on Twitter he has not been contacted. ROH's Kevin Kelly recently noted the possibility of doing NJPW commentary on a podcast appearance.

There will be a free trial of NJPW World from October 4th - 11th.

In an update to this, it has been confirmed that the announce team will be Kevin Kelly and Matt Striker.

Apparently they didn't even ask Mauro (or Ross). No idea about Barnett, but I'm pretty sure he either has a fight soon or just had one.

Barnett just had one like two weeks ago
