– We’ve noted how WWE doctors won’t clear Daniel Bryan to return to the ring due to concerns they have but Bryan says he’s ready and has had one outside doctor clear him. A source notes that Bryan continues to push WWE officials hard in regards to getting cleared. Bryan realizes he can’t be off TV too much longer if they still want to capitalize on his momentum. He also realizes there’s a need for another top babyface right now.

– WWE recently signed “Psycho” Sid Eudy to a Legends deal for licensing and merchandising. Expect to see new Sid action figures before the end of the year.

i wonder if they're holding on him because they don't want another Rumble fiasco

To solve that problem:
1) JUST GIVE HIM THE F*CKING WIN
or possibly
2) do what they should have done this year. Debut him after Fast Lane, with his first actual match coming at WrestleMania, and book the entire year around the story of Daniel Bryan triumphantly climbing the mountain to win back the title that he never lost, culminating in winning the rumble and then going on to win the belt at Mania.

My fear is that he is perfectly fine to wrestle but WWE is so afraid of any sort of lawsuit if something were to happen that they'll never let him wrestle again, and he'll have to sit at home for another year or so until his contract is up and he goes back to ROH/Gabe/Japan.
