BRM Reviews the 8/26/2015 ROH

THE BRISCOES vs. THE BLOODBOUND WARRIORS- 4.5/10
Because if these guys haven’t connected with the crowd the ten times we brought them in, let’s assume the eleventh time will be the charm.
Kevin Kelly tells us that both the Strong-Lethal rematch and the Young Bucks vs. Addiction tag title match will be in two weeks.
Briscoes win and the announcers actually do put it over as the Briscoes getting back on the road to the world tag team titles. And speaking of that road, here is a road-bump to help keep them away from the titles for a while…
The Decade shows up and Adam Page challenges Jay to a fight. Jay accepts it, but BJ Whitmer says it won’t happen right now. He wants it to happen next week. Well… that took a lot less time than I expected.

RODERICK STRONG vs. DONOVAN DIJAK (w/the House of Truth)- 6.75/10
I wish I could have seen the whole match, just to see exactly how great a match Roddy could pull out of Dijak. As is, it was great for the time it got.
The house of Truth jumped Roddy after the match but War Machine made the save to build up to next week’s Letha vs. Hanson TV Title match.

ROH WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Addiction(c) (w/Chris Sabin) vs. Future Shock- 7.25/10
Great match and good storyline stuff with the Kingdom’s interference. It only targeted Kyle, but as a result, screwed Cole out of the titles twice. Cole angrily went after Maria, resulting in Kyle being left alone to eat Celebrity rehab for the pin, but still leaving the door open for Future Shock to get another tag title shot down the line.
The way I’d like to see this play out if for Nigel to give them another title shot, but this time in a cage. Maria would tell Cole to use this as an opportunity to prove that he still has value to the Kingdom, and Cole would lose the fall, leading to him being kicked out of the Kingdom.

POST-MATCH SCHMOZ- first the KRD jumped Kyle. Bobby Fish tried to make the save but got beat down as well. Then the Young Bucks came in, and then the Kingdom came in, so I guess they’re setting up for either a three-way at the PPV or for Bucks vs. Kingdom with the Bucks winning the titles in two weeks.

A very good show from ROH.

I'm really hoping they build Bullet Club vs KRD for Final Battle. A battle of the TNA wasted talent

I can't see the tag titles not being on the line at Final Battle. I assume the Briscoes are going after them and there is no way they are doing Briscoes-Kingdom again. That leaves War Machine who could win the belts, but then they would have to beat the Briscoes at Final Battle- which could happen, but it seems like a waste of a good story for the Briscoes.
