BRM Books the Divas Revolution... and the NXT Women's Division at the Same Time!

The build to Battleground reflects the angle as it has been: Team Bella is silently backed by the McMahons, thus Paige has no one willing to help her because of the fear of a reprisal. After Paige is once again screwed out of the title because of interference by Brie and Fox, Steph uncharacteristically does the babyface thing and gives Paige a rematch at Battleground… in a steel cage!
When we get to Battleground, however, it is announced that this cage match can only be won by escaping the cage. With either Fox or Brie always guarding the door on the outside, it becomes apparent to Paige that her only means of escape is by climbing out. Unfortunately for Paige, this plays right into the heels’ evil trap. As Paige climbs up, Brie climbs up on the outside of the cage. Because she is fresh while Paige has been wrestling a grueling match, Brie makes it to the top first, and as Paige’s hand reaches the top, Brie steps on her wrist to hold it in place, then pulls a hammer out of her boot and smashes Paige’s fingers, breaking them, and allowing Nikki to crawl out of the cage to retain the title.

During the build to Summerslam we once again get Paige looking for friends to build to a six woman tag team that Steph has announced. She tries to recruit Naomi and Tamina but they say that they don’t want to get their fingers broken like what happened to Paige. Finally Layla agrees to team with Paige, but with one threat from the Bellas, she abandons Paige. The Bellas and Fox beat Paige down and Steph comes out to warn Paige that if she can’t find anyone to team with her at Summer Slam, she’ll have to face all of Team Bella in a handicap match.
As we go into Summer Slam we have no indication that Paige has found any friends. Then, when it comes time for the big match the Bellas taunt her because she has no friends… so Paige introduces her friends: Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair! The babyfaces go over strongly, ending with the three babyfaces making the three heels tap to their finishers, with Paige making Divas Champion Nikki ta to pick up the win.

Meanwhile, on NXT, at Takeover: Brooklyn…

Bayley def. Sasha to win the Women’s Title- Becky and Charlotte carry her out on their shoulders while Sasha slinks to the back like a beaten heel should.
Enzo & Cass def. Blake & Murphy to win the NXT Tag Titles.

Back on the main roster…

At Night of Champions Paige beats Nikki to win the Divas Title, with Charlotte and Becky on the outside preventing Fox and Brie from interfering.

Steph wants the title off of Paige so at the October PPV, she makes her run the Team Bella Gauntlet (Charlotte and Becky can dominate two random Divas on the pre-show). Paige handily dispatches Fox, then dispatches Brie as well after a long fight, but is worn down by the time Nikki gets her match. This, combined with Team Bella interferences, gives Nikki the advantage, but Charlotte and Becky show up to prevent further interference and Paige catches Nikki in a roll-up to retain the title.

The Raw after the October PPV has two women’s matches scheduled on it. Paige & Charlotte vs. The Bellas happens early in the show, with the babyfaces winning clean when Charlotte submits Nikki. After that match we see Naomi and Tamina watching backstage. Tamina turns to Naomi and asks “is it time yet?” Noami replies, “Yes. I think it’s time to go see Steph.”

When Becky vs. Fox is about to happen, the Bellas run in for a quick DQ. Paige and Charlotte come out to make the save… but it’s a trap! Naomi and Tamina join the fray and the babyfaces get destroyed five-on-three.
On Smackdown, a five-on-five traditional Survivor Series elimination tag team match is announced, once again with the threat that if the babyfaces don’t find enough partners, they will be forced to go into the match shorthanded.
On the next week’s Raw, Nattie joins the babyfaces. Steph threatens to fire her, but Nattie tells Steph that if she fires her not only will there be heat between the Harts and the McMahons- including Hart students like Chris Jericho-, but it will also be a PR nightmare for Steph because all of the headlines will read “WWE fires wife of man who BROKE HIS NECK FOR THE COMPANY.”
The next week the babyfaces seem to have found a fifth partner in Cameron, but Cameron turns on them, saying that she knows a winning idea when she sees one, and facing off against the McMahons is not a winning idea. You do something similar with Rosa on Smackdown, and then have the babyfaces conclude that the only person they can trust is “one of their own.”
On the go-home Raw, the babyfaces reveal their fifth partner: SARA AMATO.
You have Charlotte cut a short promo explaining that Sara is the head trainer for the women at NXT and without her, neither she nor Becky nor Paige would be where they are today. You then have Sara cut a promo about how much she loves her students and how “when you threaten the cubs, Mama Bear gets angry” (or something along those lines).
Later on the show I’d do a segment where Steph calls Sara out and threatens to fire her if she goes through with this. Sara responds by basically taking credit for the “new wave of women’s wrestling in the WWE.” She says that even if Steph were crazy enough to fire her, she wouldn’t care because the women she has trained in NXT- like Paige, Charlotte, and Becky- are all too good to be fired, so even if she herself was fired, her legacy will still live on, etc. etc.

On Smackdown and Superstars I’d have Sara basically murder two jobbers- probably Rosa and Cameron.

Meanwhile, on NXT...
Sasha loses a rematch to Bayley when they return to Full Sail. Sasha gets more and more frustrated at her inability to beat Bayley, starting to get DQed for not breaking holds in her matches or beating her opponents down after the matches, resulting in the ref overturning her decision and DQing her.
Another person who is getting a lot more frustrated is Alexa Bliss, who is furious at Blake and Murphy for losing the tag belts and even more furious that they fail to win them back. I don’t know if I would go so far as to have Blake and Murphy actually cowering in fear of the five foot tall Alexa, but I’d definitely have them be very uncomfortable as she gives them an earful after every loss.
These two angles converge when one of the people that Sasha takes her frustrations out on is Alexa. Blake and Murphy kinda-sorta try to save her, but don’t want to go manhandling a woman, so they run backstage for help instead. The referee in the ring tries to pull Sasha off, but she shoves him down. Other referees come out to help but Sasha starts to beat up the referees. Finally a bunch of female jobbers come out with Blake and Murphy… and Sara Amato and Bayley. Seeing Bayley just gets Sasha even more angry, but Bayley and Sara are able to restrain her. Regal comes out and gives her an earful and announces that she has been suspended for attacking referees.
On the next week’s show, Alexa- all bandaged up- chews out Blake and Murphy for not helping her. Bayley comes by and advises Alexa that maybe people would be more apt to help her if she was nicer to them. Bayley walks off and Alexa makes one of her awesome angry faces in Bayley’s direction.
Since winning the title, Bayley has been not quite giving away title shots, but has certainly been very generous with them. Charlotte and Becky each come back to NXT to get a title shot, which Bayley wins clean in the middle with her finisher, handshake and hug after, etc. etc.
Bayley reignites her feud with Emma and Dana. After successfully defending the title against Dana (this should be the week after her segment with Alexa), Emma jumps Bayley from behind and a two-on-one beatdown ensues, until Alexa Bliss- dressed in her blue babyface gear- makes the save.
From this point on Alexa starts being a babyface again. I’d have her squash someone the next week just to get this point on TV, and then have her get jumped by Dana and Emma, leading to Bayley making the save. The next week we have a tag match. Blake and Murphy show up half way through, but Alexa tells them to go away because she isn’t with them anymore. Alexa and Bayley triumph, with Alexa pinning Dana.
While all of this is happening, Sasha has been brought back and is winning squashes. She seems to have calmed down a lot. Also, there are rumors going around the WWE is going to call up another Diva so Sara Amato is at ringside, watching all of the NXT Divas Matches.

Back on the main roster...
It’s time for SURVIVOR SERIES:
TRADITIONAL SURVIVOR SERIES ELIMINATION TEN-WOMAN TAG TEAM MATCH: Team Bella, Naomi, & Tamina vs. Paige, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Natalya, & Sara Amato-
Death Rey eliminates Fox in about five minutes via Axe Kick.
Naomi eliminates Nattie a few minutes later.
Sasha Banks runs in and attacks Sara, allowing her to be eliminated by Naomi, putting the babyfaces down 4-3, but they make a comeback and eliminate both Bellas as well as Naomi and Tamina. Charlotte, Becky, & Paige survive.

For the December PPV we build to Paige vs. Naomi, with Naomi having been promised a title shot by Steph in exchange for helping Team Bella. Paige wins.

Meanwhile, on NXT…

Sasha Banks is furious that Sara Amato didn’t choose her to be brought up to the main roster, which is why she attacked her at Survivor Series. Sara says she didn’t recommend that Sasha be brought up because while Sasha is fantastic in the ring, she isn’t mature enough for the road yet. Sasha tries to frame this as Sara being jealous of her good looks and fast-track to success and is trying to hold her back. From here, we build to a teacher vs. student match at the December Takeover special.
Speaking of the December Takeover special, Alexa Bliss mentions to her new best buddy Bayley about how totally awesome it would be if they had a title match together at the Takeover special. Bayley agrees to talk to Regal about it. Alexa picks up a big win on TV over Emma, so Regal agrees to the title match at the Takeover special:

NXT TAKEOVER: TEACHER VS. STUDENT-
NXT WOMEN’S TITLE MATCH: Bayley(c) vs. Alexa Bliss-
They have a totally clean match until Alexa rolls Bayley up with a handful of tights to steal the NXT Women’s Title! Alexa celebrates with the belt and runs up the ramp… where she meets Blake and Murphy who carry her off, all laughing at Bayley the whole time.

SASHA BANKS vs. SARA AMATO-
Sasha wins clean. Sasha offers a handshake afterwards and Sara accepts it.

On NXT the next week, Alexa, Blake and Murphy are all in the ring together, all in matching red heel gear, while Alexa brags about how she tricked naïve, gullible, dumb little Bayley. Bayley comes out to try to kill Alexa but Blake and Murphy restrain her and Alexa lays her out with the title. This would build to angry Bayley coming out and winning the title back at the February Takeover special, possibly blowing off in a No DQ’s match at the WrestleMania weekend show (which Bayley would win).

Sasha, for her part would probably transition into being a babyface for the first time and would feud with Emma and Dana through Mania and then Alexa after that before being called to the main roster in about July.

Meanwhile, back on the main roster…

I think we’d build up Nattie vs. Paige for Royal Rumble with Paige winning with some sort of controversy that would allow me to book a rematch for Fast Lane, which Paige would win 100% clean. Also at Fast Lane, Becky and Charlotte would face off for the first time, with a WrestleMania title shot on the line. Charlotte would win, and would go on to defeat Paige to win the title at Mania.
From there I would keep Charlotte champion for the whole year and also keep her apart from Sasha once Sasha debuts and build to that at next year’s WrestleMania.
