Re: Reloaded Tour Hype
Bunch of new matches for Atlanta:
Reborn Matt Sydal & ACH vs War Machine (HANSON & ROWE)
Roderick Strong vs Caprice Coleman
The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Michael Bennett) w/ Maria Kanellis vs Will Ferrara & Watanabe
"Unbreakable" Michael Elgin vs Adam Page w/ BJ Whitmer
Corey Hollis vs Cedric Alexander
All seem like they'll be decent but nothing great with the exception of ACH & Sydal vs. War Machine, which could be awesome.

Re: Reloaded Tour Hype
Except I'm almost certain it's not a taping. It's a bunch of decent undercard matches for a show with a main event that really should get a lot of time. I'm surprised they haven't made the main event Champions vs. All-Stars, although that could indicate that theory that the Young Bucks will win the titles on Friday is true.cero2k wrote:Big Red Machine wrote:seem like a bunch of filler matches for the TV show

ACH VS MATT SYDAL - BEST OF 5 MATCH SERIES
Ever since they started teaming up, Matt Sydal and ACH have thrilled fans with their incredible athleticism and compatibility. A true tag team is much more than just two wrestlers competing on the same side of the ring. It can often take YEARS of working together before a team truly "clicks" - and sometimes that never happens at all!
But even though the team of ACH and Sydal still seem to have limitless potential for success, ACH apparently feels he needs to do more. He went to Matt Sydal and explained that he feels he is sinking in ROH and needs to shake up his career before it's too late. Always a source of positive energy and wisdom, Sydal encouraged his partner, ensuring him that he has all the potential in the world. ACH has now decided to test that theory by taking on his own partner!
ACH has decided that what he needs to prove his potential is to defeat the man who has taught him so much in the past year - MATT SYDAL! Because although ACH has learned so much and grown tremendously through this partnership, he truly believes the only way to learn even more is to beat Sydal himself.
ROH Head Matchmaker, Nigel McGuinness, heard ACH's request for a match against his partner and took it under careful consideration. We have just received Nigel's decision! ACH will get his match...but that's not the end of the story. McGuinness has decided that one match between these two athletes is simply not enough. If ACH wants to show the world how much he has learned from Matt Sydal, he can prove it in a BEST OF FIVE SERIES!
The first three matches have already been set. Obviously, only time will tell if matches four and five are necessary...
BEST OF FIVE SERIES: ACH VS. MATT SYDAL
- Match 1: Dearborn, MI (September 11, 2015)
- Match 2: Chicago Ridge, IL (September 12, 2015)
- Match 3: ALL STAR EXTRAVAGANZA VII in San Antonio, TX (September 18, 2015)

Re: Reloaded Tour Hype
Well... this is out of nowhere. And also pretty random.
At least they are giving something that feels like a story to the live event shows rather than keeping it on TV and PPV. I'd imagine #4 will wind up being in Lockport or Pitt and #5 at Glory By Honor. Maybe the winner winds up with a TV Title shot in Atlanta or Nashville or Florida?

Re: Reloaded Tour Hype
Well... Chicago looks stacked already. The month of September is absolutely STACKED with Ring of Honor action! Not only will we be hitting San Antonio for ALL STAR EXTRAVAGANZA, but the ROH RELOADED TOUR is coming to cities across the country! On September 11th, Ring of Honor returns to Dearborn, MI. And the very next night, your favorite ROH stars are coming back to Chicago Ridge!
As we've already learned, ACH and MATT SYDAL begin their Best of 5 challenge series in Dearborn. But those are just two matches of many signed for the September 11th and 12th stops of the ROH RELOADED TOUR! Here's the latest...
SEPTEMBER 11 - DEARBORN
- DEFY OR DENY - ROH TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP SHOT ON THE LINE
JAY LETHAL w/ TRUTH MARTINI VS. MARK BRISCOE VS. DALTON CASTLE w/ THE BOYS VS. CEDRIC ALEXANDER
Defy or Deny is a unique ROH twist on an elimination match! If Mark Briscoe, Dalton Castle, or Cedric Alexander are the winner, whichever man came out on top receives a future shot at the ROH World Television Championship. But if LETHAL is the last man standing, whoever he defeated to win will NEVER get an ROH World Television Championship opportunity for as long as Jay Lethal holds the gold! Therefore, this is potentially a make-or-break opportunity for the 3 men vying for a future title shot!
- THE KINGDOM (MATT TAVEN & MICHAEL BENNETT) w/ MARIA KANELLIS VS. YOUNG BUCKS (NICK & MATT JACKSON)
Two of the best tag teams on the planet will collide in Dearborn! These two teams - and their respective warring factions, CHAOS and the Bullet Club - are building an international rivalry that is defining tag team wrestling in 2015. ROH is proud to give the best tag teams on in the world a place to compete and ROH fans have learned to expect excellence in every encounter. You don't want to miss the next battle between these two globally elite teams!
PLUS: Match 1 of the Best of 5 challenge series between ACH and his partner, MATT SYDAL!
SEPTEMBER 12 - CHICAGO RIDGE
- ADAM COLE/KYLE O'REILLY VS. YOUNG BUCKS (NICK & MATT JACKSON)
FUTURE SHOCK reunites once again! On a recent episode of ROH TV, we learned that not only do Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly still respect each other, they also still make an incredible tag team! And in Chicago Ridge, they will team up to face the YOUNG BUCKS! O'Reilly and his usual partner, Bobby Fish, have battled Matt and Nick Jackson all over the planet and have elevated tag team wrestling to incredible new heights. This is a match we never thought we would see in 2015, but it's happening right here in Ring of Honor!
- RODERICK STRONG VS. BOBBY FISH
Meanwhile, the other half of reDRagon will be in singles action on September 12 in Chicago Ridge! Roderick Strong is at the absolute peak of his game right now and only getting better with every match. At the same time, Bobby Fish has established himself as not just an elite level tag competitor, but a singles star as well. Fish is slated to challenge Jay Lethal for the ROH World Television Championship. But first he needs to get through a battle with Mr. ROH!
PLUS: Match 2 of the Best of 5 series between MATT SYDAL and ACH!
Don't miss your chance to be there LIVE for 2 huge nights of ROH action! For tickets to September 11 in Dearborn, click HERE. And to be there in Chicago Ridge on September 12th, click HERE!
I don't like the haphazard way this Defy or Deny match has been thrown together. Mark Briscoe is a fine entrant, but usually Defy or Deny includes guys the champ has already feuded with. Castle barely fits the bill, while Cedric doesn't even come close. It'd be better to replace him with Hanson. This is also a sign that one of two things will happen:
If a challenger wins (likely Cedric, but it could be Castle) we know Lethal isn't losing the belt at the PPV, but if Lethal wins, we know he most likely is. Bad timing on this match, IMO. If Lethal is going to keep the belt after the PPV, it would have been better to do this match the next weekend in Lockport or Pittsburgh.

Re: Reloaded Tour Hype
Ring of Honor’s sizzling hot Reloaded Tour is in full swing, and will make its debut in the outskirts of Pittsburgh in California, PA at the Convo Center at Cal U on Friday night September 25.
Get your tickets now before they are gone, click here.
ROH Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness is working very hard to ensure that the debut in California, PA is one that will leave fans buzzing. He has just signed an amazing main event with championship implications.
**MAIN EVENT**
THE BRISCOES vs THE YOUNG BUCKS (NICK & MATT JACKSON)
When the former 8x ROH World Tag Team Champion Briscoe’s decided to reunite, their goal was to redefine the tag team division that they feel they established as the best in the world. What better way to show off the best tag team division in professional wrestling than having The Briscoe’s face off against The Young Bucks?
The Briscoe’s are legends in Ring of Honor, facing and defeating every great tag team the division has ever seen. A record 8 tag team title reigns together, former Pro Wrestling NOAH GHC Jr Tag Team Champions, 2 individual ROH World Title reigns for Jay Briscoe means these two are building a legacy that is likely untouchable.
The Young Bucks, Nick & Matt Jackson are considered by most to be the best tag team in the world. The braggadocios members of the vaunted Bullet Club are no slouches when it comes to championships. They are former ROH World Tag Team Champions, 3x former IWGP Jr Heavyweight Tag Team Champions and winners of the 2013 New Japan Super Jr. Tag Team Tournament.
These two teams are not strangers to each other, last knocking heads over a year ago in Milwaukee WI. The Briscoes came out victorious in that one, but the game has since changed. The Young Bucks have set the tag team world on fire with a style that can’t be matched. The Bucks have won numerous championships since then and show the confidence that they firmly believe they are the best tag team today!
The Briscoe’s will not come into this battle overconfident. They are not the tag team they are by not preparing themselves correctly. The Young Bucks are known to take to the air to confuse foes, while the Briscoe’s are underrated when it comes to taking to the air, but their forte is using their hands to lump up their opponents.
If The Briscoe’s are going to redefine the tag team division, they couldn’t have picked a better tag team to start with! You will want to be there to see two of the very best tag teams in the world do battle! Get your tickets now!
ROH STARS SIGNED TO APPEAR

- THE KINGDOM (MICHAEL BENNETT & MATT TAVEN) w/ MARIA KANELLIS

Saturday, September 12th, 2015 - Frontier Fieldhouse - Chicago Ridge, IL
The month of September is absolutely STACKED with Ring of Honor action! On Saturday night, September 12, Ring of Honor returns to Chicago Ridge! We will be returning to the Frontier Fieldhouse with another night of amazing action.
Ring of Honor is the hottest ticket on the planet and you will want to make sure you get your tickets before they sell out. To make sure you are in attendance click HERE!
BEER CITY BRUISER VS. DALTON CASTLE w/ THE BOYS
Silas Young is calling in the re-enforcements in his on-going war with Dalton Castle. Young made a phone call to his fellow ruffian, Beer City Bruiser, and asked him to put in a little work on Castle before Young and Castle meet at All Star Extravaganza VII. Castle is clearly getting deep inside the head of Silas. His antics have driven Young to the point of wanting to do permanent injury. The “24/7 Party” will need to be on his game as the Bruiser at 6’2" and over 300 pounds!
JAY BRISCOE VS. CEDRIC ALEXANDER
Cedric Alexander crossed a line recently in Atlanta, GA. He interfered in a match-up between Moose and former 2x ROH World Champion Jay Briscoe. Alexander may have unintentionally caused himself a lot of harm because Briscoe asked ROH Matchmaker Nigel McGuiness for this match up. Briscoe felt disrespected by the arrogant Cedric and now its time to for Cedric to “Man Up”. Cedric is on a roll, having broken the streak of Moose and then defeating him again at Death Before Dishonor. Alexander cannot afford to lose momentum with a loss to Jay Briscoe. A mere 6 days before his No DQ return match with Moose, Cedric has to be concerned. Will Veda Scott be able to guide Cedric through deep waters with the former champ or will Jay Briscoe insure that Cedric doesn’t make it to San Antonio?
MARK BRISCOE VS. ADAM PAGE w/ BJ WHITMER
The Decade’s Adam Page has been making a lot of noise recently. After defeating rival ACH at Death Before Dishonor in a brutal No Disqualification match, Page has been on tear to ensure he is recognized. Page’s mentor, BJ Whitmer, has encouraged Page to call out the biggest dogs in the yard, including former 2x ROH World Champion Jay Briscoe. Jay’s younger brother Mark has taken exception to all the barking Page has been doing and has signed on to shut him up. “The Sussex County Chicken” is coming to Chicago Ridge with The Briscoe’s brand of ass whoopin’ and he is bringing it specifically for Adam Page! Whitmer and Page may have bitten off a lot more than they can handle.

Re: Reloaded Tour Hype
I think it would have been better to announce Cedric vs. Jay first, then have Page cut a promo claiming Jay is dodging him, then do an article with a Mark Briscoe promo volunteering to take on Page to defend Jay's honor. I do like the way the booking in Atlanta set this up, though.
More importantly, though when the hell did those other two matches get signed. YOUNG BUCKS VS. FUTURE SHOCK and RODDY VS. FISH!
