– While Chris Jericho is currently working a WWE deal that sees him only work live events, WWE officials did approach him to work a feud that would have ended at next month’s pay-per-view. We don’t know if Jericho accepted the offer but if he doesn’t show up on RAW within the next two weeks then he probably turned it down.

– John Cena has reportedly been much more vocal lately in regards to giving younger WWE talents a shot and some of the spotlight.

i just imagine Cena saying this right before he goes out to make Owens tap. Also, this is likely the first time i've seen Cena take a shot at Taker

It's not taking a shot at Taker. That match is a special attraction match.

special attraction, but still closing out the show that Rollins should be closing. I'm not saying it's just straight up to taker, but there are a bunch of 'old' timers getting spots here and there.

I don't see it as a shot against 'Taker either, but more at whichever dunderhead decided to make that match and think that it has the same drawing power that it used to. Admittedly, I still mark out when The Undertaker comes on, but when he starts wrestling, or talking, I'm reminded that he's getting old and his gimmick doesn't fit well with the atmosphere of the WWE at the current time.
