The WWE web site has removed all references it could as fast as possible related to Hulk Hogan. They have also removed all his merchandise, and he was removed as a judge for Tough Enough.

The only thing confirmed thus far is that the web department was recently told to remove every reference to Hogan on the site as fast as possible.

One WWE source also said they believed Curtis Axel was told that his Axel Mania gimmick at the house shows will be dropped immediately.

Given the time on the East Coast, where WWE headquarters are, it's unlikely to have a confirmed reason for all this until the morning.

There are a lot of rumors that a tape will be revealed on Friday morning that has WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan repeatedly using racial slurs. There is an old audio going around on YouTube of Hogan using the “n word” during an interview in 2012 but that is not the same audio that is being rumored now.

As noted, WWE removed all Hogan mentions from their website, removed his merchandise from WWE Shop and he’s been pulled as a judge on WWE Tough Enough. They even dropped the “Axelmania” gimmick for Curtis Axel that was a parody of Hogan.

One reliable source who is aware of the audio says it’s going to do some major damage to Hogan, which is why WWE is distancing themselves ahead of time, but he will be able to rebound from it after some time and some effort.

Apparently the audio has been known to people close to Hogan for some time and is rumored to have been recorded a few years ago, long before Hogan made his return to WWE. This is obviously a developing story and nothing has been confirmed yet but we will keep you updated.

For those who missed it earlier, Hogan tweeted the following when WWE’s website started removing his profiles early Friday:

Update: A few readers have sent word that The National Enquirer is claiming that they have tapes of Hulk Hogan repeatedly making racist statements, which they shared with WWE yesterday, leading the company to distance itself from Hogan, as mentioned below.

The tapes are to be released today by The Enquirer. More as it comes.

it's well know that Moolah used to pimp out all the women that were in the 'division' while she was champion, she would sell them out to the wrestlers in order to not get kicked out of the promotion, yet they made her a hall of famer. I'm not saying that they fire them, but WWE has ALWAYS had relationships with far worse people than Hogan who just had sex and made a remark that everyone overreacts with
