Monday night war ignite

Sitting in my recliner watching an insight on the Monday night war of Legends of the roundtable thank you cero.
This lead me to this thought what do we need more of on Monday nights I watched the podcast of Vince Mcmahon and Steve asked the question with all due respect to the other promotions where is WWE'S cutthroat competition on Monday night? Vince's claim is that everything is competition and that's a somewhat of a lie not all the way but somewhat.
WWE regardless of what Vince wants to claim WWE is and always will be a wrestling company yes there is some drama which could put them against the likes of Sleepy Hollow and Gotham could we really believe that there is ant ties between wrestling and Gotham? Awhile back people claimed it was dancing with the stars i know wrestling in some aspects is like a dance but not really i know people who watch WWE may or may not watch these shows but wrestling fans have always wanted just that wrestling i understand some fans are not watching RAW to watch these shows but how can WWE make us stop channel surfing?
And this is not in anyway me ranting on the solution I don't have one i just thought i would pose the questions Wrestling isn't the in thing like it was when drawing the casual fan during the war. Jim Ross said it best it WCW was the team they played every Monday night so what's the missing element i feel Vince in the podcast was very dismissive about that because he couldn't admit that its not must see as much as i'm loving the product and will continue to watch. So if you were booking the territory as Steve put it what does WWE need.
