Cero's Mid-Week Wrestling Review (March 5, 2015)

Good: Ninja Turtle aside, I'm gonna hand it to NXT and Owens to actually make me give a damn about Alex Riley. I hate the idea of Riley existing, but they told a story that 100% sold me on that feud.

Bad: That woman's backstage segment was just bad, not necessarily the idea or the content, but the delivery by all 3 of them was just bad.

Change: Solomon Crowe. (1) If there was ever a reason for WWE to overdue a stereotype, it's here. Crowe doesn't look like the hacker he is supposed to be AT ALL, he needs props. (2) Is his finisher seriously gonna be that? He needs a better finisher.

Good: This good may end up becoming a bad in the coming shows, since it all depends on how they follow up, but I think that it was a good development for Sexy Star to lose like that, just easily overpowered and later getting her ass handed to her. I hope the follow up on this is that she realizes how easily she lost and that this works as motivation to get better.
Also...VAQUERO KING CUERNO!!!

Bad: Who am I to call out Dario Cueto, but if you don't want Son of Havoc to interfere in a match between Ivelisse and Angelico, making him the ref, the man with the power to simply give the win one of them, is not that smart.

Change: It's not a LU thing to do to promote a card in advanced or treat it like a special show, but they failed to promote this amazing card, the 3rd match in a 1-1 record between Mil Muertes and Fenix, and Alberto vs Texano for the first time in the US.

I got a free week because this week's was a pre-show for 13th Anniversary.

Good: Big Show and Kane are in the ARMBAR!!! That means they're not in a match themselves!! YES! YES! YES!. The segment was funny and good too. Honorable mention to Eva Marie's presence, I actually liked her deliver A LOT.

Bad: One single quote from Michael Cole during Kane vs Ryback: "Imagine what it would mean for your career to win the the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal", to which I answered, "look at Cesaro"

Change: for the Rusev vs Swagger match, I want to change Swagger to anyone else in the roster, like anyone, really, even one of the matadors, ANYONE else by Swagger!

Promotion of the Week: Once again, Lucha Underground takes it. ROH had a week off, NXT aside from the main event, it wasn't that much wrestling wise, but good storyline development, and Smackdown was Smackdown

MVP of the Week: Sasha Banks is this week's MVP, amazing match, and hot taking anything away from Charlotte, but Sasha was just menacing and spot on.

Wow... you and I are never going to agree on anything about Sexy Star, are we?

I took the whole Son of havoc as referee thing as Cueto just trying to stir sh*t up to amuse himself. He's been doing to that Son of Havoc since literally day one.

Does this mean I should actually watch Smackdown this week?

well, that segment was like 3 minutes, so you can probably just find the video on youtube. I'd say watch the IC title stuff, but you haven't been enjoying it i think, there was a small development at the very end that i found interesting, but could turn terrible come RAW. don't wanna spoil it

Is this Stardust being added to the match?

yeah, well, not officially on the match, but he's surely got the title right now. I'm guessing Dragon vs Cody happens on monday for the final spot and goldust costs Cody the match, but i just don't know what they'll do at this poiint
