It's that time of the year...

..where blood feuds escalate, the stakes get higher, and every wrestler starts wearing pink t-shirts.
I'm all for cancer awareness and that, but the amount of pink in WWE this coming month really does make everything so mellow, i just can't believe Dean Ambrose wants to kill Rollins while wearing a pink wifebeater.

I read something that I actually totally agree with on the F4W board about why groups like WWE and the NFL do this with Breast Cancer but with no other types of cancer that really drove home for me why I always feel so uncomfortable about it. They are doing it for crossover appeal and nothing else. The pink ropes and pink shirts and pink everything just feels so in your face because you know they're just shouting "LOOK AT HOW CHARITABLE WE ARE! LOOK AT THE GREAT THINGS WE DO FOR WOMEN! ALL OF YOU WOMEN SHOULD WATCH US BECAUSE WE DO SUCH GREAT THINGS FOR WOMEN AND ARE SO CHARITABLE!"

yeap, that is exactly it. it's a big promotional/PR tactic. WWE obviously goes and pairs up with the biggest name in cancer AWARENESS, not research, not cure, AWARENESS!! WWE will make 5million out of pink tshirts, give 20% to SGK, then they only invest 5% to actual research.

It was back from when the Ice Bucket Challenge was big. Lance basically explains that most of it is BS because the drug companies already have zillions of dollar and all of the incentive in the world to do the research, so any money you donate is really just money of their own that they get to save.

Reminds me of something I wrote last year. From an unposted edition of Bob-O's Random Ramblings:
Hey, I hate breast cancer as much as the next guy, but I'm not OK with the heels wearing pink. I think there's more effective ways to spread the word about breast cancer. Maybe a storyline with the Bellas? Like, how about Nikki can't figure out why her breasts are so much bigger than her twin sister's. Kaitlyn pulls her aside and encourages her to get checked out because her breasts have been filling up with what she thinks might be cancer too. Somebody could check them out, like Yoshi Tatsu, only for Steph to intervene explaining how she beat "cancer" back in 2006. AJ and Alisha Fox could play the cancer free heels... I can go on and on... get ahold of me and I'll let you know where to send the check Vince. Or just keep sending Alberto Del Rio out in a pink shirt. Whatever.

It's 2014 now, and I do not understand why they are not dedicating one of Raw's three hours to Dean Ambrose giving mammograms. This shit writes itself! It'd be the best ratings they've had since Foley won the title.

Dean Ambrose? F*ck that sh*t. If you're going to do this, you do it right: Bring back Val Venis!

And for NXT, they can have Bull Dempsey get a mammogram. He's got the biggest tits on that show by far.

if this breast cancer storyline works, maybe november can run a story on how one of the guys got prostate cancer from an atomic drop

Ooooh good thing Jim Ross isn't around anymore...
"DAMMIT! Come...ON! What is this in the script? 'Big Show performs lengthy prostate exam on Jim Ross in front of Divas'? Seriously, why Big Show? Why ANY of this!? I quit..."
Maybe Rikishi got it from Stephanie's head being in there... nice setup for Uso's vs The Authority...
