Ric Flair The Definitive Edition Review:
The documentary was a good 2 hours focusing on how he got into wrestling and how he started training at a 3 month camp headed by Verne Gagne that involved other future legends Ken Patera Jim Brunzell Greg Gagne and The Iron Sheik and it was so intense at the start he weighed 298 by the end he weighed about 260 then it talks about his plane crash that nearly ended his career to his return and eventually becoming the biggest star in the NWA followed by him leaving leaving WCW after Jim Herd came in to joining the WWE then eventually rejoining WCW and how he suffered lapses of confidence afterwards to eventually WCW closing down and his career in WWE I'd suggest you watch this documentary if ur a Ric Flair fan it's very good.

Matches:
Jack Brisco vs Ric Flair: **3/4 Decent 10 minutes of action not much of note it was basically slow and plodding other than a few spots

2/3 Falls Match for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship Ric Flair vs Kerry Von Erich: **** Great action I loved how Kerry got screwed over it helped keep him as a hot contender for Ric Flair's title to continue there rivalry (which if u know ur history this was the rivalry that would lead to 1 of the greatest feuds in Texas wrestling history The Von Erich's vs The Fabulous Freebirds)

NWA World Heavyweight Title Match Harley Race vs Ric Flair: ***3/4 This was a great match lots of crazy bumps on the outside and great storytelling with Ric out wrestling Race and having him beat until Race gets DQed by having Dick Slater and Bob Orton come out and help

Four Horsemen (Ole Anderson Arn Anderson and Ric Flair) vs Magnum TA Dusty Rhodes and Manny Fernandez: ***1/2 This was great by the book tag team wrestling with the Heels cheating to win and the Faces taking it and keeping coming back only to get screwed in the end anyway

NWA World Heavyweight Title Match Ric Flair vs Sting: ***3/4 For those that don't know this is the match that many say started Sting's road to being a superstar in WCW and it's not hard to see why when you have a great match that ends in a time limit draw for a World Title against 1 of the best of all time it won't do anything but help ur career

NWA World Heavyweight Title Match Ric Flair vs Terry Funk: ***1/2 Good action and aftermath I've always been a mark for both Terry Funk and Ric Flair and this did not disappoint I also loved how they played up how Ric's neck had been hurt and 1 wrong move could paralyze him for life

Rowdy Roddy Piper vs Ric Flair: ***1/4 This was good but not great I just wasn't a big fan of this match

WCW World Heavyweight Title Match Ric Flair vs Ricky The Dragon Steamboat: ****1/2 Great action not as great as there classics from 1989 but this is still a forgotten classic between 2 of the greatest wrestlers in the history of WCW

Steel Cage Match for the WWE Intercontinental Title Triple H vs Ric Flair: ***3/4 This was an awesome old school style Cage match where they just focused on hurting each other and using the Cage to help them do that while also playing up Flair wasn't as young as he was but he wants to prove he can still go with the best

Career Threatening Match Ric Flair vs Shawn Michaels: ****1/4 Great match they told a great story of Shawn being conflicted at he wanted to give Flair what he wanted and that's his best but at the same time didn't want to end his idols career

Bonus Features: Ric Flair Farewell Address: GET THIS DVD FOR THIS PART ALONE!!!

Overal Rating: 10/10 This DVD is AWESOME some classics from Ric Flair some awesome promos and segments from Flair and 1 of the most emotional moments I've ever seen in the history of wrestling in the Ric Flair farewell address make this a must own for anyone who's a Ric Flair fan

I took a 1/4* off due to I noticed some sloppiness on Sting's part in few of his reversals on Flair
