I think Ciampa's gotten better on the mic and this is a good explanation for why he'll be out and it makes sense given his gimmick is he's a psychopath I like it

If they REALLY wanted to sell this angle, they'd let him go work for Gabe for a show or two. I don't see it happening, of course, unless they could get someone like Ricochet in return.

why does it have to be a Gabe promotion? he could just do PWG, CZW, or even CHIKARA. CHIKARA would actually work awesomely to show he's likable

He already works PWG. That wouldn't be something new. It wouldn't quite feel outside the bounds of ROH. CHIKARA or CZW could also work, but I think that a one or two time only appearance by Ciampa on a Gabe show would help Gabe draw and sell DVDs, and if ROH could get a guy like Ricochet or Swann or Fox in return, it would help them, too.

i think kayfabe wise his work with PWG or Beyond could be enough to put his story over. Non kayfabe wise, many companies could definitely gain from this.
