ROH Bitter Friends, Stiffer Enemies II (4/24/2010)- Chicago, IL

SAMI CALIHAN vs. “SKULLKRUSHER” RASCHE BROWN- 5/10. Sami managed to look strong while SkullKrusher still looked dominant

THE BRAVADO BROTHERS vs. DARK CITY FIGHT CLUB- DCFC win by ref stoppage. Good extended squash.

EDDIE EDWARDS (w/Shane Hagadorn) vs. METAL MASTER- 5.75/10. Nothing special, but not bad, either.

HOUSE OF TRUTH (w/Truth Martini) vs. SHAWN DAIVARI & ERICK STEVENS (w/Prince Nana)- 5.5/10. Was going well, but then Truth Maritni jumps in the ring and blatantly interferes, getting his team DQed for no reason.

DAVEY RICHARDS vs. RODERICK STRONG- 8.5/10. Freakin’ awesome.

PETEY WILLIAMS vs. RHETT TITUS- 6.25/10

AUSTIN ARIES & KENNY KING vs. THE BRISCOE BROTHERS- 7/10. The post-match stuff with Aries, King, & Titus was good as well.

ROH WORLD TITLE MATCH: Tyler Black(c) vs. Chris Hero (w/Shane Hagadorn)- 9/10. Hero pulled out some really cool stuff I hadn’t ever seen before.

CHICAGO STREET FIGHT: Colt Cabana & El Generico vs. Kevin Steen & Steve Corino- 8.75/10 (but people who especially enjoy extremely violent matches more than I do might rate this higher).

Overall, this was a very strong show, with three matches coming in at over 8.5, and an acceptable undercard. Definitely worth picking up, especially if you (like me) are a big Tyler Black fan and are looking to collect his entire title reign (or at least his defenses, so you don’t have to buy shows like Gold Rush or Civil Warfare)
