King of Pro Wrestling
- Okada def. AJ to win the IWGP Heavyweight Title

- Fale def. Tanahashi via cheating to win the IWGP IC Title

- Shibata def. Nagata
- Time Splitter def. the Young Bucks to retain the Jr. Heavyweight Tag Titles
- Ishii def. Naito

Young Bucks win Best of the Super Jr. Tag League, cheating to beat first Forever Hooligans and then Jado & Gedo in the Finals

Power Struggle
Okada def. AJ Styles to retain the IWGP Heavyweight Title
Yujiro def. Ishii to retain NEVER Title via interference
Tanahashi def. Fale by DQ (Fale retains IC Title)
Anderson & Gallows def. Shibata & Goto to retain the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Titles

Time Splitters def. the Young Bucks to retain the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Titles

WrestleKingdom IX- January 4 Tokyo Dome Show
IWGP HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Kazuchika Okada(c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (G1 Winner)- Okada retains
IWGP INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: Bad Luck Fale(c) vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi- (Tanahashi probably wins here)
CHAOS (Forever Hooligans, Tomohiro Ishii, Jado, & Gedo) vs. BULLET CLUB (AJ Styles, the Young Bucks, Doc Gallows, & Karl Anderson)- Ishii pins AJ
Makabe vs. Goto (Makabe thinks that Goto breaking his jaw back in May cost him the G1, so now he is back as a heel and wants to use his lariat to break Goto’s jaw for revenge)
Yano vs. Iizuka- no DQs (a blow off, and then this feud will never be mentioned again)
Suzuki vs. Sakuraba
NEVER OPENWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Yujiro Takahashi(c) vs. Alex Shelley (Yujiro wins)
IWGP JR. HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: KUSHIDA(c) vs. Kota Ibushi (this would be Kota’ return from his concussion)
Katsuyori Shibata vs. Tetsuya Naito-
Naito cheats to win, completing the heel turn started during the G1, with the idea being that he is frustrated of losing, so he has turned to cheating tactics to win

From here I would start to turn AJ face by having Anderson yell at him for losing matches and pointing out that he (Anderson) beat AJ in the G1. I'd have Makabe beat AJ at New Beginning (getting revenge for breaking his jaw), and have Anderson and Gallows retain the titles. I'd have those two meet in the finals of the New Japan Cup, with Anderson winning and challenging Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight Title at Invasion Attack, with Nakamura facing AJ because AJ STYLES VS. SHINSUKE NAKAMURA!
Both men would lose their matches, but the other Bullet Club guys would all side with Anderson and AJ would wind up kicked out of the group probably at Dominion after losing an IC Title match to Tanahashi.
