Except it doesn't make any sense for us/everyone to have time traveled without being aware that things are different. If Archie or someone else somehow fractured the timeline and caused things to change (a continuity backfist, if you will), we wouldn't know that things were different than they had been... but that doesn't mean we have traveled back in time.
