Question/Help Needed/Maybe Some Advice for People

Since launching their PPVs over the web last year, New Japan has received near-universal praise for the quality of the action on the shows. I have seen a bunch of their shows and usually enjoyed them, and the show quality is definitely better than anything that any other company in wrestling, be it WWE, TNA, ROH, the Gabe promotions, CZW, All Japan, AAA, or anyone else has put on all year. Recently I have found their shows harder and harder to sit through. There are two major reasons for this:
1. Their shows are pretty f*cking long (almost all of them are over four hours)
2. There is no English commentary, and not being a speaker of Japanese, I really have very little idea why anyone is doing anything, especially the various shenanigans on the outside that seem to happen in many matches.
I really don't mind sitting through a long show (especially if I can split it up into two viewings) if I know what is going on, and I do want to see their shows because the action tends to be very good, so I was wondering if anyone here speaks Japanese and/or follows the promotion enough to be able to explain the angles to me.
If not, I have devised a strategy that can also be applied to other things (am I going to try it with Dragon Gate Dead or Alive 2013, which I heard was spectacular) to make these foreign shows more bearable, and I think it is a strategy others can use for this as well, so I will share it with all of you. I am going to try watching one match a day until I finish the show. Just thought I'd share that in case anyone else wants to try it. Also, hit me up via PM if you can help explain the angles in the Japanese companies to me.
