Since these topics seem to be popular recently, I figured that I would do one in my major area of interest: Booking. I am basing these ratings off of:
a combination of both overall and relative success (it is not fair to compare a WWE house to a CHIKARA house, for example)
Creativity
Ballsy-ness (are you willing to spit in the face of tradition or go completely against the grain of what people expect?)
Impact on the business
and with a little less emphasis:
stars made
and, for someone who didn't own the company; tenure

1. Paul Heyman
2. Gabe Sapolsky
3. Eddie Graham
4. Antonia Pena
5. Gary Hart
6. George Scott
7. Giant Baba
8. Jerry Jarrett
9. Dave Prazak
10. Mike Quackenbush (or whoever has been booking CHIKARA)
11. Dusty Rhodes
12. Vince McMahon
13. Adam Pearce
14. Jim Cornette
15. Mike Burns

Bischoff deserves to be there somewhere because WCW did overtake WWF for awhile mostly because of the NWO & Goldberg...

The thing with Bischoff is that while the nWo concept might have been his idea, not all of the booking was. Also, Bischoff didn't know when to kill the angle, and that hurts him a lot. Part of being a good booker is knowing when something isn't working. Also, the nWo and Goldberg were about ALL he did. No one remembers anything else form WCW because the nWo was THE angle for a good FOUR YEARS. They just kept bringing it back and bringing it back.

There are other guys on this list who have suffered from the same problem (most notably, Dusty Rhodes), and that is why they are lower down on the list than you would think. With Bischoff, if his positives were good enough for him to make the list in the first place (and I think that they were close), his negatives would have pushed him off.

Also, Bischoff in TNA so far... ech.

Was Inoki good? Yeah. Did he have an eye for talent? Absolutely. But he definitely wasn't ballsy, he wasn't creative like Heyman or Dusty, and he wasn't brilliant in the way that guys like Gabe, or Graham or Jarrett were.
