BOOKER T PROMO- this is the sort of promo that only works if you have an actual rivalry between the brands. Then Big Show comes out and cuts a promo using race for cheap heat. Show then threatens Booker T but Del Rio comes out to make the save (to a pathetically weak pop, especially considering that this whole segment was intended to build him up).

RANDY ORTON vs. ANTONIO CESARO- 4.25/10
The match ends when the Shield randomly attack Orton. The good news is that at least Cesaro didn’t actually lose.

3MB PROMO- amusing. I particularly enjoyed Jinder saying that Sheamus’ actions were “way out of tune.”

DEL RIO PROMO- a good promo, but I absolutely hate the concept of turning Del Rio babyface just for the purpose of always having a Latino babyface on the show. Do they really think that Latino wrestling fans are going to stop watching WWE if there is no Latino babyface for a few months?

THE GREAT KHALI & NATALYA vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER & AJ LEE (w/Big E. Langston)- 2/10

THE AFTERMATH- I hate it for two reasons. First of all, having Langston take out Khali takes away from Cesaro beating up Khali (and Cesaro having done it a few days ago takes away from Big E. doing it here). I also didn’t like them beating up Hornswoggle, either. We get that they are heels. You don’t need to have them beat up a midget to get that point across.

CM PUNK & PAUL HEYMAN PROMO- Punk was good. Heyman was AWESOME!

THE ROCK & RHODES SCHOLARS SEGMENT- GREAT!

HANDICAP MATCH: 3MB vs. Sheamus- decent squash, but it makes you wonder why 3MB are even allowed in the Royal Rumble if they suck so much.

TEAM HELL NO vs. THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS- pointless squash. It would have been better to do something to sell Dragon’s leg injury.

LAST MAN STANDING MATCH FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: The Big Show(c) vs. Alberto Del Rio (w/Ricardo Rodriguez)- 7.25/10

Overall, an okay episode of Smackdown

It's important in that it gives me personal satisfaction to see it happen, but what I mean is that it isn't important to the wrestling angle.
