My Wishes Going into TLC

Right. Armchair booking time.

Big Show vs Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Championship:

I have no preference for the winner here, although I think it could work better if Sheamus wins and then is knocked out cold by The Big Show. Ziggler's music hits, he cashes in his Money In The Bank contract for the 123 and becomes World Heavyweight Champion. Cena vs Ziggler is now a ladder match for the World Heavyweight Championship, which Ziggler deems to be extremely unfair.

The Shield vs Ryback and Team Hell No:

Standard TLC match with a pin fall ending. The Shield dominate, they bring their sword (which I am secretly hoping will be Bray Wyatt) and win the match.

John Cena vs Dolph Ziggler for the World Heavyweight Championship

Standard ladder match with some ludicrous bumps from Ziggler. Looks like Cena's gonna win, OH MY IT'S THE SHIELD! Shield take out Cena, Ziggler retains.

I know this is all slightly optimistic, but the way these three fueds have all melded into one big story makes it very possible, as well as the recent rumours of a Ziggler push. Either way, I am very excited for this weekend.

I hadn't considered Wyatt being a member of the Shield (I think he would work best as it's inspirational cult leader).

I really, really, really like the idea of Ziggler cashing in his MITB briefcase so as not to risk losing it to Cena. That is brilliant booking.

It gives the Shield another reason to interfere, the injustice being that Dolph has to defend the title against Cena, who hasn't earned World Title shot. But again, I'm being incredibly optimistic with this.

I agree with your ideas, i'm right there with you in all of them. some things i've been hearing around, that i'm really hoping don't happen.

1. Ziggler cashes in and the loses the title to Cena in the ladder match. Hope not
2. The sword in the Shield? there's a man with a sword tattooed in his chest. Lesnar

If Lesnar becomes part of the Shield I will be pissed off like its nobody's business. If Lesnar joins them it becomes the Lesnar show, and HELL NO is he gonna let these "rookies" talk for him. He's gonna be the leader. Not only that, but Roman Reigns is the silent powerhouse of the group, Lesnar would take that away from them entirely. As it's going right now, we have Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in a headline PPV match! If it goes well for them here, and they get the added talking ability of Bray Wyatt, they could talk their way to the top of the WWE!

While its possible and I see the reasoning behind it....I think you're all looking to much into this "Sword" thing...Sure it could happen but to me I think it was just a word...Only a slogan nothing more. There's a good chance I'm wrong though I'll admit .

I wouldn't sweat it too much. With Punk off the card, I doubt they'd bring in Lesnar without announcing it. They're venturing into uncharted waters, headlining three unproven rookies and Ziggler along with a Big Show/Sheamus match we've seen two other times already. They're already starting the hype for the Punk/Rock at the Rumble. I'm sure if Lesnar was going to be in the house, they'd make damn sure the general public knew about it. TLC is boasting a lot of Smark Appeal, but not much for Joe Casual Fan other than the gimmick matches.

You don't think Ryback getting revenge on the Shield will be enough of a draw for the casual fan?

Nope. Not a bigger draw than a Lesnar appearance.

I hope I'm wrong, but I have a feeling that buys for TLC are gonna suck.

It's a risky build to a PPV, man! Cena vs Ziggler, which we've been over exposed to on free tv, and two weeks to prep us for Ryback getting his hands on three guys we've only known for four weeks? Ryback vs Maddox had more of a build than that!

You can't honestly tell me that the office is going into this PPV with confidence.

Oh, no doubt! Ryback is red hot right now! But I don't think so much that they'd be willing to miss an opportunity to sell a Lesnar appearance.

That might have something to do with the Arena, though. It has only been open for a few weeks.

Well if you ask me, I think I might be looking to change my Show of the Year candidate after the weekend.

Ouch. Talk about bad timing. The good news is that Delirious got the book back in early October. And both Glory by Honor XI and the TV taping in November (or at least the 4/5 of it that has aired so far) have been great. I can honestly say that I am excited about the product as a whole for the first time in a year.

Ah sweet.

I may have to get back into it then, because I enjoyed the few bits of ROH I saw before Sinclair, and I even bought Death Before Dishonor IX, which I really enjoyed. I wont be able to buy Final Battle, but I've just seen the card and I'm definitely gonna have to check it out.
