No, because Eric Bischoff was upset about AJ not being able to face Williams. It'd contradict that segment. Cornette Face all over it. But then, it is TNA...

how would that contradict? Of course Bischoff wasn't happy, his chosen man is out of action. It makes a turn more likely & more shocking.

If AJ was supposed to be RVD's opponent, they wouldn't have booked him to face Williams, because it'd lessen his chances of coming out victorious.

100% Agree with this statement. It bothers me even more than usual because TNA claims to be the anti-WWE, where they care about wrestling skill, not looks.
