Meh.

Once again, it feels like a big clusterf*ck of a New Japan show with a million meaningless undercard matches, except this time they've only got a three-hour time limit so nothing will get anywhere close to enough time.

Dave is saying that the main event for the 5/9 show is scheduled to be reDRagon vs. Lethal & Naito.

War Machine vs Okada/Gedo sounds like a handicap match

ANX vs. Elgin/Tanahashi is the one that concerns me more, simply because it feels so... mundane. It's everything that is wrong with this year's ROH/New Japan shows.

Moose vs. Naito and Lethal vs. Dijak signed for Toronto. No official announcement that either one will be a title match. It probably would have been better to wait to do Lethal vs. Dijak for the next set of shows so that they could announce it as a title match.

DIjak doesn't deserve a title match for just kicking Martini in the face

Exactly. But with a few wins on the Conquest Tour and on the New Japan shows and he should be right where he needs to be. It just seems wrong to do this match for the first time and have it not be a title match. This really doesn't strike me as a feud you are getting more than one match out of. Two at most.

Roddy, Lethal, & Jay Briscoe vs. Tanahashi, Okada, & Ishii booked for NYC. I can't imagine that this isn't the main event.

Also, there is talk of ACH facing Naito in either NYC or Toronto. That should be a pretty damn great match.

Meltzer is reporting that Tatsu/Tanahashi/Elgin vs Elite rematch is happening at the Terminal 5 show. Not sure if it's for the titles

which could also mean that Omega finally got the visa thing done

That would be good news.

this apparently is the first time that Tanahashi and Okada have ever teamed.

If that's true, then having Ishii in there kind of dilutes the importance of it, IMO. Maybe having just Roddy & Lethal vs. Okada & Tanahashi would have been cooler.

agree. I mean, Ishii and Tana should also be a first time, but it's not as important IMO. I guess they don't want to do Naito vs Lethal, but it really feels like they should either replace Lethal or add Naito instead of Ishii

I hav a feeling that Cole was added to replace the dates that Styles and Omega can't do in ROH
