I admit I've never seen a game of duck duck goose in a wrestling ring until I saw that match.
It's not just that. It is the spot at the end with Darkness Crabtree and 3.0 that I don't want to spoil, or the "eye pokes" to the swamp monster. That match is about twelve different types of hilarious.

Just added Fire Ant & Soldier Ant vs. Chuck Taylor & Icarus from CHIKARA Anniversario Yang. I defy you not to completely mark out for the entirety of this match.

I watched that PPV live. For the next 12 yearz I told people it wuz the greatest match of all time. Then a friend of mine got me the DVD "Bloodbath: Wrestling's Most Incredible Steel Cage Matches" for my birthday. After watching that match again, it wuz great but not az good az I remembered it from the first time. What bugz me iz all the hezitation at so many moments when either one of them should have eazily been able to take the victory. Aside from that, definitely a great match.

I think one of the all-time matchez burned into my memory wuz Chris Benoit winning the 2004 Royal Rumble. But that has to do mostly with the last 5 or so minutes. How can a person really rate a match involving so many people?

Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Kazuchika Okada match from this past weekend's New Japan Pro Wrestling iPPV drew a five star rating from Dave Meltzer. Should be worth checking out.

Bret Hart vs Mr Perfect at Summerslam 91 I believe. Greatest match I've ever seen.

I'm the same way. I don't know what it is. When I want to watch a TLC match, the one I want to watch most is always TLC 2, but the first one just has... I don't know... a feeling about it that makes it *****

Have you seen the Cena vs. Umaga Last Man Standing match? Based on your list, I think you would love it. Also, the first Survival of the Fittest match, or most of the Danielson vs. McGuinness matches.

I think the edge (no pun intended) that the TLC at SummerSlam 2000 had over the others was that it was the first. They set out o prove something that night and they succeeded. And BRM, seen them all, all GREAT matches, but nothing I'd call perfect.

Damn. My search for someone other than myself and YCW who will give Cena vs. Umaga the love it deserves must continue!

Any love for the Flair Steamboat matches or some other 80's stuff?

i'll have to look at it again, I personally thought that cena/ryback was amazing, so if you think it's far better than that i should take a look

I pretty much decided to keep the list narrowed down to matches that have taken place in the time since I became a fan. But the Flaj/Steamboat matches were AMAZING. As was the Flair/Funk I Quit match.

I haven't seen it in about four or five years, but I remember being very disappointed by it.

word on the internet is that in NJPW's King of Pro Wrestling '13. Tanahashi vs Okada drew another 5 stars and Nakamura vs Marafuji is close behind with only like a 1/4 less to five stars
