12/28 Preshow
Mid way through the show, we get a series of quick promos, one from Neville saying Triple H brought his inevitable loss to him on himself, a zany promo from The New Day, running down both The Lucha Dragons and Breeze/Ziggler, and one from The Lucha Dragons, where Kallisto says that they're tight as it gets, and the Dragons will live forever. Sin Cara says in Spanish that he has the utmost confidence in himself and Kallisto.
As the pre-show closes out, we are informed that Darren Young and Braun Strowman are already brawling in the back, and that will start Raw
12/28 Raw
We cold open to Braun and Darren brawling in the back. Braun slams Darren through the door of the locker room, both men are down. Darren manages to grab a trash can lid and smack Braun with it, causing him to stagger down the hall, all the way to the stage. Braun grabs Darren for the bear hug and slams him down on the metal for the cover
Braun Strowman def Darren Young by pin
Braun teases gorilla pressing Darren off the stage, but Goldust, followed by the ECW Originals and Titus O'Neil stop him. The other Wyatts sans Bray come out in response and a big pull apart brawl occurs, all the way behind the curtain.
US Champion Alberto Del Rio w/Zeb Coulter def Sami Zayn via rollup
This match goes about 20 minutes, and both guys are given the room to look really good, Sami looks particularly technically proficient, rolling out of Alberto's submission. The match comes to end when Sami goes for the Helluva Kick. Alberto appears to duck the kick, Sami cries out in pain, and Alberto rolls him up with a handful of tights. A replay of the finish shows that Alberto snuck in a low blow, hence Zayn crying out. We come back from the replay with Sami explaining to the ref, pointing to the titantron. The meek referee tells Sami he can't reverse the call. Sami stomps to the back, looking frustrated, Micheal Cole immediately starts hurling accusations that this is an Authority conspiracy. JBL immediately berates him for it.
During the commercial break Rene Young runs down the current 1/2/16 Superstars
The returning Ryback will go against R-Truth
Baron Corbin vs Mark Henry
Sasha Banks vs Summer Rae w/Tyler Breeze
We get a promo from Tyler Breeze and Dolph Ziggler. Tyler pep talks Dolph, telling him that, if they win the tag titles on Smackdown, Dolph and Tyler will have their names on runways in Milan and Paris. Tyler ends the promo by saying, "That'll be the best thing that's happened to your career in a long time. Breeze wonders outwardly, "When was the last time you won a title, November last year?" Dolph looks miffed, but does nothing as the promo ends
Dolph Ziggler and Tyler Breeze def Damien Sandow and Curtis Axel (Dolph pins Axel
This match goes about 15 minutes. Before the match begins, The commentators make note of Bo Dallas in a suit watching the match. Back and forth action, Dolph and Tyler play the babyfaces, Breeze making the hot tag to Dolph. JBL remarks that this is a huge improvement from their first couple of matches. Dolph and Tyler celebrate together. The New Day comes on the titantron
Big E. AWWWWWWWWWW DOLPH AND BREEZE! SO YOU'VE FOUND THE POWAH OF POSITIVITY! WELL I'VE GOT SOME A BREAKING NEWS ALERT FOR YOU!"
Kofi Kingston stars beatboxing the generic "Breaking News" music, while Xavier mocks a newscaster voice
"That will not be, I repeat, NOT BE enough for the Pretty Boy Holly Cousins to beat The New Day."
Big E: AS YOU WILL SEE, EVEN ESTABLISHED TEAMS LIKE THE LUCHA DRAGONS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO QUELL OUR UNICORN MAGIC (quick cut to Breeze mouthing 'Unicorn Magic?' to Dolph and Summer) "YOU TALK ABOUT THE RUNWAYS OF PARIS AND MILAN, BUT ON SMACKDOWN WE WILL USE YOUR GOLDEN LOCKS TO MOP THE RUNWAYS, AND THE RING"
The obnoxious cackling of the New Day as Breeze/Ziggler/Summer look on confusedly and the segment ends.
Zack Ryder def Fandango via Rough Rider
The match goes under 5 minutes, King Barrett comes out to plug the tag team showcase, saying that he's got bad news, that he and Rusev will give these modern NXT vagrants a royal beating.
Charlotte and Tamina's confrontation is next. Tamina basically says that there's footage to prove what she's said about Charlotte, that Charlotte is weak, and a kidnapping never would've happened if she was champion. Charlotte angrily retorts, saying that she's going to mirror what the PTO felt like to Tamina at Royal Rumble. She threatens to pull every muscle out of place, and then Tamina will know what it's like to deal with a pissed off Flair. A brawl ensues between the two. The Divas, sans Paige, runs out to break the brawl up. Sasha Banks tries to grapple Tamina at the waist, pulling her away, but Sasha gets an elbow to the nose for her effort. Sasha lays in the ring while the brawl is broken up. Paige's music hits as she and Adam Rose strut out happily, Micheal Cole is informed from the truck that Sasha vs Paige is next.

Mark Henry def Heath Slater
Heath runs at Mark, but Mark catches him for a World's Strongest Slam for the pin in 10 seconds.
We get a promo about Roman Reigns helping to build housing for the homeless in another city. This would probably be a shoot, but would be used in kayfabe to let Roman look like a badass (carrying wood on his back, attaching a door to hinges etc) but it also is supposed to sell the fact that Roman Reigns is not here tonight.
The next segment is Dean Ambrose walking down a hall, only to be assaulted from behind with a chair by David Otunga, who then knocks some production carrying cases for production equipment onto him. Some babyfaces try to pull it off of him as David walks away,
The New Day (c) def The Lucha Dragons to retain the WWE Tag Team Titles
This match gets about 15 minutes. The finish comes when Sin Cara does a dive onto Kofi and Xavier, but Xavier and Kofi step out of the way, causing Cara to crash through the announce table. Meanwhile, Big E pins Kallisto after The Big Ending. Sin Cara is given the stretcher job while Kallisto follows somberly behind.
During the second screen experience during the next commercial break, we see Kallisto decline any kind of comment as he rides with Sin Cara to the hospital. Additionally, the production crew manages to get the crates off of Dean, and an agent (maybe give Finlay a cameo) tells him that his match with David has been cancelled. Dean is stalking the back after this when he sees Sami Zayn listening to his I-Pod. He taps Sami on the shoulder and asks, "Hey kid, want to cause some trouble?" before shoving the camera away.
Sheamus vs Kevin Owens (c) for the WWE Intercontinental Championship ends in a no contest when Sami Zayn and Dean Ambrose interfere
Owens and Sheamus get right to brawling, both men getting surprise finishers/ nearfalls at the 5 minute mark. At this point, Sami and Dean jump the heels, knocking them out of the ring. Both heels look super pissed. JBL says that the babyfaces can expect fines and suspensions for this.
We get a promo from Triple H hyping himself vs Neville, saying he's going to teach that young punk a lesson, and not to bite the hand that feeds.
Triple H def Neville.
This match gets television time remaining, Neville puts a valiant effort in, but Triple H manages to power out of it. Neville finally makes a comeback, and sets up for The Red Arrow, but Sheamus hits a Brogue Kick from the apron, causing him to fall into the ring, where Triple H hits not one, but two Pedigrees. Triple H and Sheamus celebrate together in the ring together to end the show
